I just finished mine. They look like your second group of rune stones. But i used a red pan instead of red paint. I got them for the love of spiritual research of different religions and mythologys. Im actually catholic. If i did believe in divination id say rune stones are the perfect method for me. Alot of meanings and lasts longer. Plus they stick to the other classics other beliefs use. And i use a bandana to hold them

It is incorrect to generically refer to the runes as Norse. The runes are of the Germanic culture. The Norse (a Germanic people) developed the shorter, 'Younger Futharc'. In contrast the Anglo -Frisian Futhorc was extended to additional runes.

Should explain merkstave (reversed) / brightstave (upright) up front in the video, and that Ralph Blum invented these terms in the 1980s for his book.

Thanks for the vid. How are you reading merkstave of runes which cannot have an inverted position (Ingwaz, Isa, Nauthiz, Gebo etc)? Or perhaps I misunderstand the term, doesn't merkstave = inverted?

It does but merkstave is a Tarot thing. Runes do not use merkstave.

The rune alphabet is very similar to the ancient canaanite script as well as other middle eastern scripts.

I made my wounds many years ago from a yew tree I've studied the ruins and I did a reading recently asking a question and the first rune was the blank room which I was told to discontinue the reading because the blank room represented secrecy not yet having the answer have you heard of this before

Best way is GALDR ( sort of singing them, sound vibrations work good with runes).

The definitely wirk if you draw them on your body. My mentor would warn people not to tatoo multiple runes on their body. He would recommend people write the runes that they want to get tattooed in sharpie for a month or so before making the permanent decision. There are acounts of people unknowingly cursing themselves due to their tatoos.

Some runes don't have murkstave. Isa, gebo, etc.
