You might want to reference “Sefer Yetzirah in theory and practice” by Rabbi Aryah Kaplan. These systemss use the exact same mystical technology. By, “engraving”, “visuliazing”, and “permuting” their meanings and numbers. Also check out the use of magical squares by corneilus agripas works. Subsitute the runes for the numerical values.
