So here I sit in upstate NY (the worst state for gun ownership in the US)! It is -13 degrees, and I am looking at my recent Christmas, birthday and chump change jar (it is empty now)! But, I also see my new RPR 22lr, 22wmr and a 6.5! I have watched every video on utube! By far yours is the BEST! Thanks, and give Roscoe a hug from me!

Cory picking up my RPRR this week, to match my 6.5 RPR and to go along with my 10/22 HB build that loves Federal’s white box. The ejection problem you mentioned should not happen if you give it a hardy bolt action. This seems to be only a problem with slow opening of bolt. Thanks

the FTE is due to a little burr on the bolt face. the extraction spring gets hung up on the burr and doesn't put enough pressure on the brass pushing into the hook. a small file eliminates the burr and enables the spring to do its job.

I think on the first gen of these released it was actually a bad extractor and extractor spring. I called them and they shipped a new one of each and they were totally different than what was in there. they were real nice and they came within a week.

CZ455 Is around $400, and will outshoot the RPR all day, every day. I can see the attraction of the RPR, with its chassis system and ergonomics, but if you want more accuracy in the sub$500 range, get a CZ.

Don't get a Sparrow, they aren't as quiet and nice for the price. The Mask, Spectre II, Axiom, etc... Are all quieter with less first round pop and quieter in general. I have an Erector from Q in jail right now which should be another good one.

I get it but let's be real it's a. 22lr,300+ yards with a .22 is a insane amout of drop it was never intended to be a long range bullet, and for 98% of people they cant even shoot past 100 yards let alone 300+ yards and starting out 30 moa low on low budget (mostly) scopes is nuts, even the lady I talked too at ruger said she alone gets 5 calls a day about 0 moa mounts and she couldn't believe ruger sends them out with 30 moa mounts
