Yeah, then again, they just watched season 1 recently whereas other reactors watched season 1 over a year ago.

Just for a bit of context on the timeline of s2. Start of the season (Episode 1) is a few months after Eris left him, the second episode takes place a few months later, and EP3 is set a year after the events of EP1. During this episode (Episode 4), rudy has been traveling with soldat for around a year, and is currently 15 years old. In the LN, on their trip to the academy, rudy and elinalise ended up getting lost and had to spend another week or so to get back on track and to get to the academy. During this time Rudy saw elinalise's curse in effect as her body started going pale and looking like shes on deaths door. Also a small thing about the academy and the training halls. The buildings are made from magic resistant bricks, and there is a saint level barrier (I think im wrong about the level) surrounding the area where the students fight to make sure the attacks dont get through and cause damage.

Just to clarify… Elinalise Dragonroad doesn’t have to go with different men. Her curse just requires men’s “essence” to stop it from killing her. She can stay with one man if that man is able to satisfy her curse. The curse also doesn’t dictate her behavior, and she will continue to do it even if she doesn’t have it. It’s like killing 2 birds with 1 stone… She needs it and she also loves it.

Pretty sure Ruijerd is about North Emperor level.

Her cursed seemed passively brought up because there isn't enough time to put it in the episode. Rudy found out she had a curse because when traveling she went a few days without sex and almost died, he was constantly casting healing on her for an entire night for her to make it through to the next day and sleep with someone. She was having a fever, and heaving and shaking etc. But them putting that in the episode would take a precious few minutes that I guess they felt better used elsewhere

@@ElyonDominus uhh i disagree. it makes sense having an actual opening this arc, as there's no exploring happening or new towns/regions/cultures or traveling to be seen. Its just him in the school with the same classmates + the occasional new character. So it makes sense for this arc at least

@@ElyonDominus I'd say its a great adaptation. The whole story is coherent and non lore breaking. Moving things up and down the timeline isn't a problem and as said, there's nothing to explore this arc. Adapting absolutely everything from LN/WN is simply not realistic.

It was sad to see the girls berating Rudeus affecting him, especially when one said he should die. It will be some time before those kinds of words won't trigger his past so I'm glad Sylphie stepped up before he gave in to them.

23:00 How quickly some folks forget what Rudeus went through at school in his past life. We knew who Luke was because of Episode 0 of Season 2 and Episodes 5 and 22 of Season 1. Next to nobody catches it. In Episode 5 they discuss the Greyrat clans. We learn that Paul is Paul Notos Greyrat before he left his clan due to differences with his father. Pilemon Notos Greyrat took over in place of Paul. Pilemon was mentioned as the noble who wanted to take Eris on as his concubine. In Episode 0 of season 2 we see Pilemon and Luke and learn of their connection. At that point we know Luke's name is Luke Notos Greyrat. Pilemon is one of the most recurring secondary names in the show up to that point but folks don't catch it. It goes to show how the little things in MT are the most important.

Should've known that was the reason Elinalise decided to go to school with Rudy...notice how she was nowhere to be seen in the second half of episode 5. I bet she was already busy mixing with the male students, lol. She might be cursed, but she is a blessing to men.

Yeah the opening song is tuff as hell.

They didn't mention it in the episode but when elinalise was traveling with rudeus to ranoa, there was a point on the journey which elinalise almost died because she didn't had any men (i think it was about a week iirc.) and she didn't wanna sleep with rudeus because of the reasons she already stated. Rudeus kept casting healing and detoxify on her but it didn't make it any better until at some point along the way she had her supply of men again.

I still don't understand why Slyphie won't tell Rudeus. Maybe because she is the princess Ariel's bodyguard, so certain things aren't allowed. I still think Rudy would be able to keep a secret . In the light novel he was gonna go for the headshot with his strongest magic but at the last moment shifted to the side because he didnt trust the barrier. Thankfully he did because he destroyed the dueling barrier and the wall behind it made of magic bricks that were supposed to be impenetrable. lol slyphie was cm from dying.

The first time they met when she was getting bullied by the other villagers kids for having a green hair similar to that of the demons they were scared of (Ruijierd's race).he saved her and thought he was a boy.

i think the author dropped her curse info so nonchalant because they probably wanted people to have a bad opinion on her only for that info to be revealed much later causing readers/watchers to be more invested when her backstory is actually told, especially after ****** and ******* ties the Knot

I don't know the rankings exactly but the highest rank you can go in this school is not on the level of the Gods which are the strongest. I think this school tops out at king. Beginners, intermediate, and saints can get stronger at Ronoa but once they reach king they are past anything that can be taught at the school. I think the next levels are emperor then God.

I have a theory that the girl with the long black hair is the girl that was with the dragon God, she had on the white masks. They show her drawing those symbols like the one Ruddy was trapped in when Zenoba's little brother was holding him prisoner last season. it was also a symbol under Rudy and Fitz while they demonstrated their no incantation magic in episode 5. I could be wrong but If she is the Silent person they were talking about that didn't have to go to class its would make sense, she was with the dragon God so her being strong wouldn't be a surprise.
