I have a sickness. I enjoy watching the drives and listening to the bike. I dint know what the appeals is. I just cant get enough if the classic RE.

I wondered how it was so hot until you came across Michael? with his sidecar outfit. I remember that from a while back when it was good weather. Stunning places. In that sunshine and with the painted houses it had a Mediterranean look to it.

You certainly got the weather for this stage of the trip ☀️ Beautiful!

Enjoyed the ride and scenery .

A fantastic cruise on Daisy, ending up with a cool pint. Man, you're living good, my Bullet Brother. Cheers from New Mexico, USA! Off to work on my Classic 500 "oddball" to work tomorrow. Gotta pay for fuel and eats. All else is secondary.

My 2011 Bullet.. with Cozy sidecar had,,,, moments over the years.... muffler fell off.... broken support bracket.... fender on sidecar came loose...... gas tank started to leak.... odometer quit turning... I upgraded the bolts ( grade 8 ) and thread sealer... gas tank was a common problem..... except I was 650 miles from home and used auto store mixed " goo ".. got me home for proper repairs. My RE dealer had the " fix " a support bracket from engine to frame ... as for the odometer... didn't replace it.... for the pass few years.... no issues..... These are great bikes to poke along at a steady 50-55 mph... Look'n at this presentation I wondered why they don't widen the roads.... first.. cost propitiative ! ! millions of cubic feet of rock to move... bridges.... but then they'll lose a certain charm of the journey ... thanks for the Ireland visit. 😎

"moments" is putting it lightly, I've had a fair few myself too as you can see 😆 . Even with the sidecar the Bullet still pulls along fine at 50-55mph? 😁

I plan a trip with my Bullet 500 Trials to england next year :) Maybe we meet for a coffee or a beer ;)

Great video Brendan, the picture quality is fantastic, have you ever thought of doing reviews on other Royal Enfields or other makes of bikes, I have a Royal Enfield Meteor but I'm thinking of adding a Himalayan Scram..

I'd love to take other Enfields for a spin and review really! Sadly, both places where Royal Enfields are sold in Ireland are quite a ways away from me 😅 Either Limerick or Dublin. The one in Limerick, Sprocket and Hubs, does let you hire out bikes for a couple of days, so I had thought in the back of my mind about renting out an Interceptor or a Himalayan (or even a BSA!) for this tour, but decided I had to stick with good aul Daisy 😁 Himalayan Scram always struck me as a spiritual modern successor to the Bullet 500, with its headlight cowl and trials-like appearance.

Every YT video should begin with a confident "Now". That's when you know you're in good hands 😍😁

Think it was a house ale, Dingle Amber Ale. 😁 On the other trips this year I always had someone else to film me having the 'closing out the video pint', but as I was on my own at the pub, I felt a bit too self conscious to do the 'here's what i'm having, talk to you next time!' bit 😂

Thanks for another great video Brendan. I really must load up and visit. What is the best months for weather and not to many crowds?

I'd say Saddlebags73 and Mark had it right when they went in May! It is a bit of a gamble with Ireland though 😅 They were lucky they got the best weather for the whole week. Although there can be some nice weeks in March/April too. July and August are probably the busiest times, though September when everyone's going back to school could be a good time to go too. So generally the months before and after the summer I'd say 😅

A bolt that used to have a nut on the other side to hold it in place 😅 The original one broke in France, so this was a stainless steel one my Dad made up in work... Unfortunately stainless steel doesn't hold up well under high tension as we found out, so i've ordered an OEM one from Hitchcocks to replace it.

Fuck , it's so annoying 500cc are exported to abroad bt they're not selling it in India bcz of continental GT nd meteor.

I believe they used to sell them in India when they were in production, but I could be wrong 🤔 I know a man in the UK that had a domestic Indian 500cc model shipped over to the UK, i'm sure there's second hand ones still on sale? Hopefully they'll announce a new Bullet 500cc soon 🤞
