    Yeah, we have all been a victim of ''They all do that sir''...Thanks for the ride along the country roads were hedgerows and green is the predominant colour. You just cant beat 'lopping' along a country road enjoying the scenery... Great memories riding in UK. l now live in Spain where the roads are generally better but the scenery is quite different...

    the interceptor looks like it's perfectly suited for your roads. here in Northern Utah it sometimes feels like it gets left behind on our large straight road for miles high speed motorways.

    Thanks for the ride out from Eddy's. Back in the 90's embarrassed myself no end at Eddy's in Leeds, had a Bullet 500 at the time and went there to test a Triumph Thunderbird 900 ( which I then bought) anyway, never ridden a bike with LHS gear change before, rode out of the car park on to the road (in front of the sales staff), instinctively banged my right foot down to change into 2nd, and of course locked the back brake, swinging the bike round by 90 degrees almost coming off! Can't beat one up three down! haha. One thing that was brill about the Bullet was the "neutral finder" bang your heel down on a lever and into neutral, mind you it was a terrible bike for snapping things off, cant believe how the Enfields have improved to the quality level of my Classic 350, 2nd to none! Keep smilin"

    What a cracking ride out, I don't know why more dealerships don't do stuff like this. I think Royal Enfield dealers seem to be knocking things out of the park with building customer relations by building a sort of community feel around the dealership. I suppose they took the H.O.G concept without the Harley attitude which is a good thing.

    Nice video, I was talking to my friend about organised / semi organised rides and the organisers must have insurance for putting on a event. If anyone had a accident then they potentially can sue the organiser, utter madness. So now they have stopped doing them. What a complete mess the UK has become.

    Interesting you say you'd reduce someone who'd been cruel to an animal to mince, but you're happy for a lot of animals to have a bolt shot through their head and have them made into mince, just so you can have a nice shepherds pie or whatever. No big fuss - I just thought I'd give you that thought to ponder. Maybe you're veggie, in which case I take it back 😅 The Fart at France guy is Colin Furze, by the way, he's massive on YT for building mental machines and mechanical creations. I don't think it was a Brexit thing. My Classic 350 is delivered Tuesday - I'll be watching out for those infamous two issues. Hopefully they've been ironed out by RE by now!

    Morning Dave , nice rideout , and just had a watch of the fart at the French video, brilliant! 😂😂 I've not had any issues so far with my classic 350 apart from a noise from the injector cover and airbox area that sounds for all the world like a loose lid on a pan of boiling spuds when I accelerate hard? ,and a buzz from the headlamp peak which I've sussed is the rivets have loosened a bit that hold it to the rim , not a big job to fix , other than that I love the bike .

    Just bought a 2023 himalayan and spent £1500 turning it into a bike that is reliable and performs well on and off road. Great thing about RE is they sell so many, the faults are well documented and there is a fix / upgrade for everything. The joy of ownership is getting hands dirty and not paying rip-off dealer servicing costs. Best bike ive ever owned. (Ive owned many japanese, italian and german bikes)

    I get neutrals between 1st and 2nd if there aren't enough revs. As you have to keep revs down while running in, it's annoying. If the bike is still showing false neutrals after a couple of thousand miles I'll take it to a dealer to sort.

  • @kevindarkstar

    @@borderlands6606 Mmm good luck with that, from my experience with vague or intermittent faults it's a very poor response from the dealers

  • @borderlands6606

    @borderlands6606

    11 ай бұрын

    @@kevindarkstar It could be a number of things. A downward pointing gear lever which many riders move on the spline, the longish clutch lever which I'm soon to replace, a sticky or badly adjusted clutch cable (it isn't that), low or incorrect grade of oil (not that either), a weak gear spring, a dodgy neutral light switch (could be as I've had a neutral light when in gear, and no light when in neutral), or the gears need to bed in fully. As it's improving this is most likely but I'm monitoring the situation. Anything behind the crankcases I leave to dealer warranty or small claims court if they get sniffy. Owner serviceable jobs, oil change, valve adjustment, chain and cable replacement I'm happy to do. Film and/or photograph the work exhaustively with written explanations and workshop setting refs. Dealers don't have the time or motivation to track down mechanical anomalies unless lots of people report the same thing. They don't make much money on new bike sales, their income is run of the mill maintenance. Manufacturers generally underquote for job timings, and riders don't like paying dentists fees for a proper job. Once out of warranty, do it yourself if you have the skills.

    I loathe those adverts showing the effects of evil people abusing animals. I do think why, when I'm trying to relax and watch nonsense, should I be exposed to this X cert. stuff, and cheap cremations, and erectile dysfunctions.
