My first experience with this dude happened when I was living at school in India. It was an hour or two before lights out, and they had Mr. Bean on in the common room. Most the dorm had come in to watch. I had never seen Mr. Bean as he wasnt really a mainstay in US television, at least not on the channels I watched as a youth(CN Network/Nick/Disney and History Channel/Discovery/etc). However, with this institution being a top ranked British-Run International boarding school, Mr. Bean was readily available and I absolutely loved the show. He was ridiculously hilarious as Mr. Bean, but I know he's had many other roles in which he has given masterclass performances. The man is a top tier actor on an international level. He deserves all the praise he gets.

Classic, yes. Brilliant, yes. Standup, no.
