    It seems Kabuki is just a mess. From their 10 day break (which ended up being much longer), to things changing on their new site changing from the % of discount off (20 to 10 to 5), to a bunch more. They posted something on IG about deals in their Legacy section and a user asked about availability of the Squat bar, Kabuki account responded that they're in stock now on the site. However the squat bar has never been listed in the legacy collection and the "new" version is currently out of stock. Just seems like they don't know WTF they're doing lol.

    Also I lol at the "black ice" marketing around black oxide (which kabuki actually does well) but saying its a premium coating it is not. They had wording out there about warranties against rusting but even SS can rust in the right conditions. Not sure if they've changed that yet but if not they'll regret it.

    These things frustrate me as well. I have loved a lot of my Kabuki items, but they are making it difficult to want anything from them. I've never had a bad experience and paid full price for all except the 28.5mm power bar, but other folks are having the opposite experience

    @@BasementBrandon They don't have to worry about a warranty if they're not in business anymore by the time it it rusts

    Rep x Kaizen hammer arms would be a brilliant idea - huge goodwill from the community at a minimum. If they can get the price right, that would be the end of the PRX version. $1500 is insanity.

    Insane and with that insane price point they can't pay Kaizen $50 to $75 a unit? I figured they'd be around $650 to $750 most real gym owners don't want Jammer Arms and rarely use them if they get them. Next level greed now that I know the price.

    Just put a Kabuki Shoulderok in the shopping cart, entered my country, state and zip code and got the message “we do not ship to your address.” I own a Duffalo Bar, Kadillac Bar, and Shoulderok all purchased new from Kabuki several years ago and delivered to my current address. I’m located in a southern state of the U.S.

    To attest to the PRX conversation at the end - I actually seriously considered the Halo arms, and won't now. I'm sure I'm not representative of the majority of PRXs market though.

    I love this group! Great panel. As for Kabuki, I’d roll the dice on a hectic and haphazard looking company for lower priced equipment, but I’m not spending premium prices for chaos. I think Duffin is an interesting and innovative person and I’d like to explore some of their equipment; so I’m hoping for the best for them.

    I have Rep Rack and dual Athenas and love them as well as their open trap bar and cambered bar but have Rogue USA Olympic plates, Ohio Bar and their Kabukki Transformer Bar. Both companies make excellent stuff can't go wrong with either. Both superior to PRX crap.

    Good topics, I like Rogue but even if they have the same price, my Rack is Rep so I will get other equipment from Rep because the ecosystem, same colors, It doesn't matter to someone starting from scratch or money is no problem but if you already have a home gym if you have a rogue rack you will go with their functional trainer, that's how I think and Rep have an advantage in my opinion. I don't think a lot of people are selling their Rep Ares or Athena to get Rogue now even if you like it more.

    No I love my Rep rack and dual Athenas. To me the ONLY reason Rogue's rack is a bit better is its I believe 2 inches wider.

    Titan V2 has always been dubbed as an EFS yoke clone. How are the specs actually different to make the EFS “better”?

  • @flexmarksthespot

    @flexmarksthespot

    The biggest difference is the pad on EFS is more firm than the rest of the field. I might be crazy but I feel like the camber angle is a little different also but not really sure how to measure that tbh
