Makes me feel better about my own home ….an old person in a house of disrepair is so sad……& humbling…there before the grace of God go I 🙏🏾

I think it's good to show old houses getting clean, many people think that they have to be dirt broke but they don't think that they can be clean and poor which will enrich their lives more.

I love that you clean the old, run down homes. It’s reality for so many. I hope your channel starts growing more.

I enjoy these videos the most. The ones of the really trashed older homes and how you make them look so much better! It doesn’t have to be a new modern apartment to be satisfying. You took an old burnt out apartment in the projects and made it clean, safe, and livable. That’s a superpower. Don’t give up on your work, Barbie! You are needed!

There are more people that we realize that have bathrooms and kitchens with old appliances and fixtures, and that could use some repairs and a fresh coat of paint. This is real life and families learn to make do with what they can't change or are willing to live with. I appreciate seeing real, unstaged clean ups. They're more relatable to me that some HG TV set up. You do your best with what you are presented, and it always looks good when you're done -- that's why we love and appreciate you!

Growing up I did live in old homes. 11 siblings I was 4th oldest. Cleaning older home’s aren’t as satisfying although what you do for others is such an act of loving kindness and I’m hoping others will see your purpose more than their gratification in the end!

There is no one like you, Barbie. You bring hope and possibility into situations that are horrific. You make homes livable for people who cannot help themselves. What you do is much MORE than cleaning. It is giving a person hope, a new start, a clear vision that things can get better, and that others can care about total strangers and help them without expecting payback. Your selfless humanity is a gift. If only others could even be a fraction like you, the world could be a better place.

I believe Barbie needs to take on a sponsor. I know when I watch Ari I love seeing her use the different products.

another wonderful job, Barbie! i don't know why your channel isn't growing as fast as you'd like either. you are so great to want to help so many people with your free cleanings. most people don't live in brand new houses or apts. in fact, most of us probably live in older ones! i know i do. when there's mold inside the caulking, there's no way to get that out. one must strip off old caulk and replace with new and that's not something all of us can do on our own or afford hiring someone to do. this bathroom and the kitchen looked so amazing after you cleaned them. they were clean enough and healthy enough for the people to live in. there's nothing you can do about bad floors, walls, etc. i hope you can keep doing what you love and keep sharing it with those of us that appreciate you! you are loved!!

I also have had a friend and a family member who don’t clean and don’t care and their homes look exactly like these homes. It’s the way they live that causes this, thus lifestyle. What they value determines how they spend their time, thus lifestyle, again. My opinion and what I’ve seen with my own eyes.

You think anyone living like this would be fine and healthy? That's absolutely absurd. Some people have this terrible need to demonize ill people being just "lazy" or having "low morale" or something like that. It's vile. It's actually way worse of a personality flaw than being messy for x / y / z reasons. I bet they are better people than all of you who are just judging them. You obviously don't know anything about mental illnesses. Educate yourself.

What I would love to see is a home owner/renter actually help her clean! Maybe they have never been really taught how to really keep a house. But I understand the housing authority. If they have a house that looks like this why would they want to give them something brand new and have it end up in this condition.

I think SOME dirty or hoarded homes are caused by landlords not keeping the properties nice . I have cleaned carpets repainted rooms replaced caulk in rentals in my past because i was a perfectionist. Living in ugly broken places made me depressed and low self esteem. there are beautiful properties people abuse and destroy and i feel sorry for those landlords . But sometimes living in ugly places makes people give up or get depressed.

Are there any local youtubers who do renovation/restoration projects? Not for a collaboration necessarily but like an ongoing reference/partnership. You clean, they come in and paint/fix rotten boards, and then you both show the after?

This homeowner has been through some horrendous times. Wishing them a quick and speedy recovery. Barbie you have given them a fantastic reset, like you do with everyone. For me is so strange that you are not getting more views or subscribers, cause your work is very realistic, not fake or staged like many other channels. I’ve been through so many KZread cleaning channels and let me tell you that you are the best ! You are not scared of any kind of mess, not scared of mice or cockroaches, you go through the most brutal toilet with no mercy and you always nail it. I think that maybe if some remodeling sponsors can get associated with you so lets say after your amazing cleaning work they can go through remodeling so then some viewers can feel more satisfied. But in my case I don’t need new appartments or remodelation I just love your job as raw as it is for me is just perfection and I wish more people can reach through your channel ❤

The sad thing is the company that owns these units don’t upgrade until the tenant is gone even if it is 20 yrs. the people in the company wouldn’t think of living in a place in this state. They just don’t care about other people. The quiet people that live in these places and can’t get the help they need. So sad and a bad commentary on mankind caring

You're not kidding that they are sick. You know how I know? The pink water pitchers. Those are the kinds used in hospitals, and I have seen at least 3 so far in this video. That means at least 3 hospital admissions. And I'm sure the state of the apartment isn't helping their health, but since they're not well, they aren't able to clean, and it's a downward spiral. Thanks for breaking the spiral, hopefully things will get better from here. Many blessings!

the other youtube shows have people with a big house and lots of possessions but there are plenty of people live in rental housing. I find the gluttony on show from hoarders really offensive, having so much and yet living in squalor! This person has big problems, living the best way they can - thank you for helping them. I hope their health improves and they can find the strength to live a happy, healthy life 💐

Those pink plastic pitchers and pink plastic basins are definitely from the hospital. My mom kept hers too - growing up in the depression era they did not have much so kept everything! We had a lot of stuff like that to go through after she passed. Their generation was not a "throwaway" generation. 👼🙏

Hello, Barbie! I think that you are absolutely right about the reason why the channel doesn't grow as much as others do. I think that most people like to see the before and after photos showing a complete and absolute change. For a lot of people that provides a mental relief when they see how something can change. I like those channels, but I also love to see how you help people to improve their living conditions, specially when, most of the time, they have no one else to help them. I really appreciate what you do, and what I think is that, maybe, you could alternate the kind of videos, so more people can see them and see what you do for these people. I don't know it was just an idea.

The one thing I can think of right away that could help your viewer numbers, is to remind viewers at the very beginning of every single video, to hit the like button and to subscribe. The problem is, lots of people don’t watch videos to the end! Not just yours! So waiting to ask people to like and subscribe until the END of your video is going to miss a LOT of viewers! Start asking at the beginning and see if it makes a difference!

I love the fact that you clean older homes and apartments. There is true need there, and you have a heart of gold to go in there and battle the bugs, the mice, the mold, and the rotten food. I personally prefer videos that are at most a half hour, but I'm sure there are many who love the longer videos. I will send up positive thoughts for rapid growth for your channel.

Unfortunately a lot of those "management" are just slumlords and don't care. Thank you Barbie for helping to make a difference! Also, when I watch other "cleaner" channels I also mention you in the comments as another channel to watch. Have you thought of getting a sponsor to assist financially? Btw, the older the apt the better I like it. It shows a place doesn't need to be new to be decent. Finally, please keep your pretty hair more secure when cleaning.

Personally I don’t see why it should matter if an apartment is older or newer. Even if you can’t get all the stains out, the transformation is amazing. As far as I’m concerned it isn’t about the beauty of the home, it’s about giving a person their home back, a clean sanitary place to live. Yes it’s nice if you’re able to bring a room or a whole apartment back to its original beauty, but to me it’s about the fresh start you give them in life. So it boggles my mind as to why your channel isn’t growing. Wishing you much luck for many more subscribers!

I love your videos even the ones in old apartments. You can't help the walls or floors sometimes but overall they end up looking 100% better and I love this bathroom, the little added touches. I like the community aspect and stories behind the situation. It is sad to hear how people end up in their conditions, so it is especially heartening to hear they are getting help, yours and that of their community. Keep doing your thing! Keep trying new things for your viewers to tune into (love the music in the kitchen cleaning part 😀).

I cried a little while watching this. I clean some houses like this. People just don't understand the trauma and illness that is behind these houses! My heart and prayers go out to you for your channel to grow, your physical and mental health to stay strong, and you to have satisfaction and peace in your heart knowing what an inspiration and blessing you are to others!!!!!

I don't understand why you aren't getting more views. I love cleaning videos and you are one of the best cleaners around.

I like your videos a lot especially that you upload more frequently than some other creators whose videos i’m waiting for a week :)) because i like good long videos but at the same time i need to have a few short ones whenever i want to see some transformations happen! And don’t feel like browsing through some unknown creators posts :)) While at the same time i kind of understand that people who upload weekly kinda create anticipation so people rush to their old videos and rush to the ones they upload because they’ve been waiting. Idk if this is better for algorithm though or vice versa. And to me old houses is a life content videos, yes it’s nice to see sparkling clean places but like the old apartments help me not feel bad about the cleanings i do for my family. Like my grandma has older apartment with a lot of paint layers and creases and wobbly floor textures etc and sometimes it’s hard to get dirt out of the crevices or hard to make some things appear really clean cause they’re crooked and stripped or something. 🥰

I so appreciate what you can accomplish, especially in an older place. Not many of us enjoy perfect health or actually live in a luxury home. You show us that a good cleaning can make any place feel grand!
