Every once in a while all the stars align and we get something truly great. If they cast literally anybody else in his position, this story would not have worked out to become the heartwarming tale that it became. Ronald is a one of a kind human being. Thank you man, you made this story special and touched a lot of people just by being the good dude you are.

I have to commend the interviewer here! I've been binging a lot of Ronald's interviews since finishing the show last week, and I've been so upset that in a lot of them, the hosts don't give him nearly enough time to answer. Emily here has great energy and has established a good rapport with Ronald. She asked him to expound on interesting things and pulled back when it seemed like he wasn't feeling it. It sounded like a genuine, interesting conversation between the two! Oh, and of course, Ronald is a gem!

Honestly hearing him say he never has felt upset about the experience and he is grateful for it has made me an even bigger fan of this show, for a while I worried about the ethical nature of the show, and how it could have affected his life negatively, so I’m really glad hearing that he was so happy to be apart of the experience and life is going well for him. What an incredible human being he is, God bless him! ❤

Ronald is proving in this post-release press what an awesome guy he is. I feel like a lot of people would just milk the new-found fame and be really desperate, but it seems like he’s taking all the right steps and being very mature and measured about navigating things

It's nice to see the show celebrating someone who is of good character and just a truly nice guy rather than trying to get viewers by focusing on shallowness, drama, conflict and the worst side of human behaviour.

I'm sure he was chosen because he's such a lovely guy and also because he's attractive (sorry but movie star good looks make for good TV and I'll bet that was a big factor for them). But the part where he's a lovely guy is the part they really nailed.

I think so often we, outside of Hollywood, can feel almost lied to or potentially lied to about who these people we watch are. There’s always another scandal coming out, another person saying this famous actor isn’t who he pretends to be for the media-it feels like we’re always finding out they’re more like the fake James Marsden from the show, and if we’re not finding that out we’re wondering and secretly don’t know what to believe. But this show took a guy and showed him as a hero, and the best part is that it’s completely genuine and you know that’s really how he is with other people and in even such a stressful situation. What an amazing guy!

Thwy found the most normal healthy well adjusted regular human being to put thru this and thats exactly what they needed for it work. If it was a bit more of a self indulgent or not as chill and down to earth easy going guy it wouldve went south fast and been unpleasant, and these types of people are THE EXACT opposite of the types that are usually into the entertainment industry or end up being any type of famous so, its a very unique and unusual set of circumstances for sure.

I feel the same. He always speaks so well in the show and never stumbles or misspeaks. He also looked too comfortable schmoozing with a movie star right off the bat. It looked too smooth. And everyone knows you get called to jury duty. You can’t answer an ad to serve on a jury so you can be in a documentary about it. How could he have believed that was real? Also, wasn’t he living in San Diego while the trial was in LA? That’s not how jury duty works. I don’t know; it all feels too perfect, including his good looks.
