As a Romanian, I can tell you this is very unlikely to happen. Each of our countries has bigger fish to fry. The famous nationalistic rivalry only happens in a small area around the border, while the rest of each country couldn't give less of a fuck about it. We care more about unemployement, poverty, education and corrupt governaments, in both countries

@@RoAF_Dev_Team the TR-85 is pretty bad compared to properly modern armored fighting vehicles. It does have semi-modern sights and fire control systems, but its armor and armament cannot effectively compete with anything made after the mid-1980s. That's not to say it's the Romanians' fault for not being able to develop TR-580s (basically a localized but unlicensed T-54) into modern AFVs. Making a modern system with a base platform that old isn't going to be practical, let alone easy, with the industrial base that Romania has.

​@@jamesclark-stewart7035 the TR-85M1 is not intended for for toe to toe combat against other MBTs. It is a support tank that fights along side infantry or other mechanised units. It was only made for the rough Romanian relief, that's why it is so small and compact. It is a defensive tank, not a offensive one, ment to only defend our territory from invaders, not invade others. And for this strategy it has achieved it's purpose quite well, 6 TR-85M1 defeating 11 Abrams in a military exercise in Germany. And that pretty much sums up Romania in a nutshell, only defending not atacking, even if we could crush the opponents. My wife is from Hungary, I'm from Romania, we have a beautiful family. About the war? I think Viktor Orbán is looking for a conflict with the neighbouring countries, especially Romania and Slovakia. He and his party already interfering in to Romania's internal affairs and this is not going to end up well... There is also a political party called udmr wich is coordinating it's actions along with Fidesz from Hungary and all they do is to destabilise romania and to make Hungarians and Romanians hate each other in someone's benefits... I think those who are coming to Romania to spread orban's propaganda, including Orban himself, should be escorted to the border and never let them enter Romania again. People of the two communities need to live in harmony together in Romania without being disturbed and brainwashed by external forces wich through their behaviour undermining the sovereignty of Romania. Love you people of Hungary, I feel great every time I visit your country 😉😉💪💪

I’m living in Romania in the west side and 1/3 of my colleague are Hungarians or one parent is Hungarian. We have a perfect friendship, and never had a dispute about the nationality, so beside some isolated extremists from both countries I see no risk and reason for fight.

Don't forget the paprika.Hungary has lots of paprika so they able to produce "paprika bomb" which is very effective.The only things could go wrong with no more gulash due it;s lack of paprika and the whole army would be hungry. :)

Despite the fact that the majority of people living there is Romanian and doesn't want to be part of Hungary. I am not aware of any territorial claims that Romania has made toward Hungary.

We are now in this E.U. comunity, there is Shengen zone, the borders are being destroyed between member states, multiculturalism is encouraged by this society, i think that in a few years E.U. will look more like U.S.A. than interbelic Europe, so a debate between land will be considered nonsense because we will be all united, working as a one, there will be no teritories and boundaries. I sincerely hope that good times will come for us both so we could get along better in the future.

It really is Interesting... The First Balkan War saw some heavily outmatched, tiny nations defeat an empire. This would be much of the same. Bulgaria, Greece and Serbia vs Turkey would still see Turkey being stronger. But with such a small frontline pushing is not really feasible. So it would most likely be a stalemate.

I'm from Bucharest, Romania, and one of my best friends is hungarian. Let there be peace between our people forever!

yeeees!!! let's fight!!!! Hungary must atack with "babgulyas" or "koromporkolt" so the Romanians can defend with "mici", "sarmale" or "ciorba de burta"! If the game get dirty... we both will take out the heavyy army: Tokaj vs. Dealu Mare or Tuica vs. Palinca and in the end "halaszle" vs. "ciorba de peste"!!! :) see? no weapons are needed!

Born and raised in Bucharest Never, ever in my life i had a conversation with my friends about Transylvania or hating Hungarians. In Bucharest, we drink beer with everybody. The little tension is at the border, but thats the fault of politicians for not working with both sides and the old generations for raising their kids wrong. No kids , Romanians or Hungarians will hate each other. Throw a ball, they will play together.

Because unlike you, most Romanians aren't xenophobic morons, and they haven't been brainwashed into hating an entire nation based on nothing but their ethnicity.
