Also, you should listen to some of their other songs in their second album "Contact" and their third, "Eiffel 65 (Italian Album)"

Loved the second album but not much from the 3rd, king of lullaby was my favorite.

You should check out the songs and albums that Jeffrey, the singer, and Maury, the keyboardist, did when they were "Bloom 06" between 2005 to 2010. They made some pretty deep songs and are worth a listen.

I loved this album, i have a thing for synth and electronic, definitely dig the beats more than Lyrics but it's all different from the next, the 2nd album has my favorite song of theirs called king of lullaby.

This album is a guilty pleasure of mine. People really like to hate on the lyrics and Jeffrey Jay's vocals, and while I do think the lyrics are incredibly shallow and aren't very singable (a ton of the lines across the album don't even rhyme), I find it hard to knock electronic club music for something like that. These songs are meant to be anthems for the dancefloor, not songwriting award winners. Like you said, this kind of music isn't about the lyrics. Actually, I think a better way to view this album is to think of the vocals, with their constant repetition and heavy distortion, as more of an additional electronic instrument accompanying all the other synthetic sounds that make up the compositions. When listening to this album, I always fall into the mindset that I'm listening to essentially instrumental music, with the lyrics blending into the music rather than taking front and center. That's what I always reckoned they were going for.

Great point! The vocals are definitely just another layer. It’s more about the combo of vowels and consonants than the actual words they’re saying.

Yes, they did a Playstation song. But it wasn't an advertising or something. They never got money from Sony or were officially supported by this brand. They wanted to make a song about their favorite gaming console at that time. They loved playing videogames. Well, they were in their mid-twenties. And somehow this fits to the likeable "cheesiness" of this album.

Honestly, that makes it even better. Just straight up selling your favorite system in song. Delightful!

My console was a silly song but it's aged better then you think considering lots of the games they name are still going strong or has had a rerelease of some sort.

It is a great album, classic Italodance sound. I remember them when I was at a grammar school at the end of the 90s. You should check their song One Goal and you will like it too. Otherwise Gabry Ponte and Jeffrey Jey are still active as solo artists.
