OMG 0_0 I've been an Eiffel 65 fan since the beginning, and this is the first time I've EVER heard Gabry and Maurizio speaking English! I didn't even know they DID speak English! This to me is totally fucking mind-blowing! XD

14:36 Maury said that maybe in the future they would make something more sad. Well, that's Bloom 06, since they have more deep lyrics in their songs than Eiffel 65, and I do like the style of Bloom 06.

I'm so confused. I've been a fan of them forever, and it was to my knowledge that their English was okay, but not to this extent. This is my first time seeing them not only without Jeff, but an interview of them speaking English just fine.

Even today Maury's english sounds the same. While Jeffrey, the singer, grew up in New York sine he was 2 years old and then came back, that's why his english always sounded so good.

averagealienSD house music (especially electro and progressive) has taken over around 2008 replacing dance (before that italodance was huge until 2007, gabry ponte and gigi d agostino kept being big names and mainstream stars) around 2011 reggaeton kinda started to slowly take over, dance but also house (lets say edm in general) aren't mainstream anymore since 5-6 years, only big hits like animals, tsunami or faded are popular, now party/disco music is entirely made by reggaeton or that sort of pitbull style reggaeton-dance with saxophones and some random spanish rap thrown in it

Interesting that in 1999/2000, the public couldn’t fit Eiffel 65 into just Dance or just Pop - they were/ are in the middle, as Gabry said in the VICE interview.
