No one can replace Robin! He added so much happiness to many. Robin passed away and then we found out how unhappy he was unbelievable that no one could help him. Always will remember him!❤❤❤❤

I’m not what you’d call the biggest Robin Williams fan but I gotta say: I’ve seen Carlin, Chappelle, Steve Martin, Norm MacDonald and Seinfeld live, but I never laughed harder than the night I saw Williams perform standup in 2004 or so. My face and sides were literally aching when the show ended.

@@OMGWTFLOLSMH when it comes to dramatic acting, Robin Williams is definitely better. When it comes to comedy, it varies between them. In someways Carrey is much funnier because he has a talent that no one else has, he’s made of rubber and can do things no one else can.

@@BlanketMan I know Steve Martin is a legend, but I’ve never been that big of a fan (if at all) of him. I guess it has to do with the fact that his prime was before my time. Planes, Trains and Automobiles was definitely a good movie though (RIP John Candy) and Bringing Down the House was a knee slapper. But other than that I’m not into Steve Martin
Whenever I’m down, I only have to put on an interview with Robin to cheer me up. The world is certainly worse off without him 😢

There are those in the popular culture that you have and when they are gone, you don't realize the hole they leave until they're not around. I know now what it meant when my parents and the older generation said it was like when John Wayne died, and how he was larger than life and there was no one else who could compare. Robin Williams was the same way. I grew up in the 80's, I remember seeing Mork & Mindy as a kid, and remember when his big movies came out, and I remember watching his stand up routines. Every interview, no matter the show, the host, where it was, he was always on. You never knew what he was going to do. There was a cooking segment with Martha Stewart that was the only thing I ever saw on her show and I was in tears from laughing so hard. Robin Williams' death has left a hole in our culture. There is no one like him and never will be. Watching him on TV or in movies was an experience like nothing else, and sadly, he was gone too soon.

RW as so unique… one of those few people that you know there will never be anyone like him because he was completely himself and there is no one else that can be like that without being inspired by Robin. We won’t have anyone like him because anyone else like him would be compared to him or a copy. It’s very very very rare for someone to stand out so uniquely where anyone who compared to him would automatically be at a disadvantage because he was first to market.
