The trailer just dropped for Robert Eggers' Nosferatu and these are my initial first thoughts and reaction to horror film. "Whoa dude..." was the first one. Robert Eggers is one of the most unsung filmmakers to date. With three films under his belt (The Witch, The Lighthouse, The Northman), Eggers returns to the horror genre with one of first characters ever brought to film, Nosferatu.

I don't consider Shadow of the Vampire a remake of Nosferatu, it's more a behind the scenes myth but still a good movie imo. I did mention it towards the end the video about him playing both Orlok and now the Van Franz character.
