    I agree. Nique got hurt and couldn't play though. IT should have been on there regardless but gotta go with MJ if he doesn't want to team up with him. Also, people may not agree but I may have kept Pippen off of there because he hadn't put in much time in the league yet. He ended up being on DT2 so he would have been fine.

    Salute to Rob Parker for keep it real! Y’all act like this man Jordan is an entire religion as if he can do no wrong... I grew up on MJ but I am from Detroit. I was crushed when Isiah wasn’t selected to the dream team but was too young to understand the politics of it. For as many people who have supported MJ through sneaker purchases over the years and taking time out to watch the documentary he at least owes people the truth, period.     I owe Isaiah a big apology. He was that dude, and has always stood on it. Getting Mark Aguirre was genius during the championship years. Also, them dudes played “balls to the wall” every game. He proved how much of a punk Mike is in this code of ethics when it comes to basketball. Isaiah was a tough ass on his teammates, yet they got it done. Kudos to Isaiah for letting his legacy speak louder than words.

Larry Bird and the Celtics did the same thing to Isaiah and the Pistons, so Zeke and crew returned the favor.     Jordan didn't want to play, the committee and Rob Thorn were begging him to play, Jordan thought about it but wouldn't commit until he found out who would be on the team. He dropped hints of who he wanted and he said who he didn't want (Isiah). Thorn told Jordan that Chuck Daly didn't want him either. Jordan isn't lying about anything if he is the one saying it on a podcast. Rob needs to shut up and quit acting like Isiah was martyred.

    Let me give you some facts on that. 5 of the players for that dream team were already selected in Feb. of 1991 Jordan,Ewing,Barkley,Magic & Malone. Then the rest were chosen in Sept. of 1991 Daily was not announced as coach until May of 1992. So saying Daily was a traitor was wrong. He was actually very upset Isiah was not named to the team.

    Laettner was college player of the year and they were taking 1 college player but i bet you this tho...nobody on that team disliked laettner like they did Isaiah. If damn near the whole team doesn't want to play with you WHY add that guy? Who cares if he was talented enough. I've seen several Olympic teams where some of the best players refused to go play since then, so this notion of ALL our best should of or had to go is BS

    @@EGOJUNE The gentleman mentioned character. That's my issue. Laettner wasn't the best choice of character at all for a college player. Isaiah was a top 5 player. None of those guys except for 3 has the resume as if Isaiah was gonna be a jerk on the dream team. He already won a gold medal. It's foolishness but is what it is.

    No, because even in those defeats the Bulls and MJ like grown men shook their hands and congratulated them. They didn't duck out as IT did at the behest of Laimbeer. It was those ass beatings by the Pistons that made the Bulls and Jordan elite. Not only was this in the doc but also on other videos, that once they stopped complaining about the obvious brutal fouls they then had the advantage.

    I could care less whether Michael lied or not really. Athletes lie for less all the time and besides that this has been put to bed long ago. I am completely fine with this subject because I understand. Jordan was not alone, and there's no way the league would allow Isiah to be omitted if he made the team better. The majority of that team readily admitted the didn't want him. And if you want to chew on this: that was by far the greatest basketball team ever assembled

    Unless Rob has never told a white lie by omission, calling Jordan a punk was crossing the line. Jordan said it wasn't his fault Isiah didn't make the team because the decision had already been made. So that's technically not really a lie. Rob went way too far here.

    What these guys forget to mention is that every time there was an allstar game ,Isiah didn't want to pass the ball to mike , that's personal, because Isiah is originally from Chicago . So personal he walked off their last game in that particular playoff game.

Many many people heard MJ say he didn't want to play if Isiah was going to be on that dream team. It was all over the news at the time. Dear Mr. Parker, MJ put it out there before the decision was made by the Olympic Committee. So, he did not have to give any input in the decision. Because, Jordan already made his plans known to everyone. Additionally, dye to the rift between magic and Thomas at the time about rumors he alledgedily spread on gayness and sensitivities to contracting aids, Irving did not want Isiah on the team. This is substantiated by the famous well connected John Salley of Detroit piston fame and friend of many dream teamers. Parker you are the epitome of a internet gangster emboldened to call names over the air and not to Jordan's face. Good job! But, tell the whole story.

    I once heard Jordan admit that he didn't want to play with Isiah. Not sure what the big deal is. Jordan didn't say Isiah couldn't play. He said he wouldn't play if Isiah played. They had to choose between Isiah and Jordan and they chose Jordan. That's not Jordan's fault. But other players actually said they didn't want Isiah on the team. But don't forget Karl Malone gave him 40 stitches.

    I love the fact that Rob doesn't kiss MJ's ass like everyone else. Outside of his basketball achievements, MJ was not a very nice person. Rob just wants him to own up to his mistakes, he's not diminishing the man's greatness. At this point, there's nothing anyone could say or do that will tarnish MJ's legacy, so admitting he was behind the Dream Team incident should not be a big deal.

    One guy stated that Thomas wasn't at the top of his game since the Pistons lost in the first round. But so did Chris Mullin's Pacers, David Robinson's Spurs and so did the Lakers. Barkeley didn't even make the playoffs and Bird only played in 45 games. I need a job where I can make weak arguments and make 6 figures a year.

    While Jordan was the act people wanted to see the most in the dream team, he did not explicitly said that he didn't want Isiah on the team, he said that he didn't want to play if isiah's around. They could still have gone to the Olympics without Jordan with isiah. It was up to the organization to decide whether to go to Barcelona with him or not.
