It’s because most comics write their jokes beforehand so they are just laughing at a joke they wrote and told tons of times already so it’s not authentic. Andrew is really laughing because the jokes are on the spot

I am impressed that you handled this the way you did. It could have gone horribly wrong. You maintained control, were respectful to the ex-con and most importantly, kept everybody interested and laughing. Nice work.
I’m still not sure what she did to “mess up the house”; most I could gather was she leaned the screen doors/windows that she wanted fixed from her house up against the classic truck he just got done *restoring** (I am a mechanic and never heard of someone referring to it as “renovating” LOL), and eight years sounds about right for third-degree murder/killing someone in a “bad fight” with good behavior/parole.

@Alien Intention It's pretty easy that he'd play it loose with the word murder. Someone could have ended up dead, where the charge/conviction wasn't 'Murder". Manslaughter carries a lighter minimum sentence, and some people will likely still refer you as a murderer.

You say even criminals are safe, but I don’t even think this is the craziest one. Did you ever see the video where the girl had a seizure in the audience? Shultz roasted her, roasted people giving her medical attention, and roasted the paramedic in the audience who got offended by it. That one tripped me out, that’s the wildest one I can think of off the top of my head

Nah, he said 8 years. First Degree Murder is less than 8 years. Multiple counts of Murder is less than 8 years. If he actually did kill someone, it was Manslaughter. They said Fighting? For sure. Murder by pushing some guy into the edge of a bar or something, we've all seen that in films.

He really knows how to squeeze the tension and control the crowd. In his last special he almost made a women cry because of a wig joke and he calmed her down with some positive jokes although the lady was pissed but Andrew is good at controlling the crowd.

Well he films every single one of his shows (which can be up to 4-6 or more per week if he's touring) and usually posts one good clip out of it (the best one). So to us it seems that one of these clips a week is a lot but that's probably not really the case. But he does probably get a more crazy audience than the average comedian does.

involuntary manslaughter, 8 years is the maximum penalty. Edit: to the people arguing the maximum sentencing, I'm referring to federal law, in which many states will defer to for first time offenders.

That depends on the state though. And almost everywhere but like Texas does 1 for 2 or even 1 for 3. People almost never do their full sentences if they dont act out a ton while theyre inside. Thats why you always hear people say "get 8 and be out in 5" or whatever. Either on parole or just in general. Its pretty rare that someone does their full time.

@@giggityeffyou yes. I dated a girl whose dad was in jail for defending himself in a fight but the dude ended up dying. Didnt stay with her long enough to ask full details because I didnt wanna put her in that position to disclose that kind of info either. However probably not if someone was breaking in. In the case I'm talking about no one was breaking into anything, pretty sure it was at a bar.

giggityeffyou depends on the state, in most states you could go to jail if you kill someone who enters your house to steal something. Texas has stand your ground laws so you could kill a thief and you would be fine

As the video kept going longer and longer it got worse and worse. It’s not even that this guy isn’t my style of comedian, it’s just that this bit was really bad crowd work.
