    It's kind of like how Tim's character is a void without any virtue or philosophy at his core. A vessel that can be endlessly refilled with whatever new flavors/projects that happen to suit him and his ego at any given moment. The pure essence of a media career striver. It's part of why the series has been able to stay alive and flourish this whole time. Truly brilliant. Thanks, On Cinema 👍

    He said they're probably done which means they're definitely not done. I was also surprised to hear that DKR falls under the Dekkar brand. Not a connection I had previously made but it does recast DKR's hit song MTBTL2.0 in a new, interesting light.

    The brilliance of Tim Heidecker is that these songs are actually frustratingly catchy and close to what they are lampooning. "Trigger Everything" has a melody in its chrous that could fit right in with mainstream alt rock mainstays of the 90s.

    I hope Axiom and Manual continue on with their music careers, they were the real talent and creative force behind the band. Once Tim got a small taste of success it all went to his big head. They’ll probably get back together next season anyways... And it’s so funny to see how Gregg hated anything Dekkar right from the beginning lol be never even gave it a chance. #FreeMark

    Dekkar came on when I was sleeping once while I was sleeping and I literally woke up because the music was offending me so much and I assumed it was some hollywood shit and had to turn it off. Like, I was genuinely pissed off and angry and half asleep. It woke me up.

    The band ran it's course and they had an amazing run. Looking at great bands of the past Van Halen wasn't the same without David Lee Roth, Dekkar wouldn't be the same without Tim. Hopefully Axiom and Manuel let the band just die, a reunion tour one day might be in the cards though!
