100% Bollox. It's pursuing offshore wind wherever it can. It just increased tenders and is trying to accelerate the program so it's more rapid. France has the whole Atlantic coast where there's loads of OSW potential.

Britain is getting covered in wind turbines. I have some behind my house they just started working again for 4 weeks they did not move once. The climate activists keep bleating about renewable energy yet I have checked our National Grid website each week throughout the winter when the weather was dull & still renewable energy averaged 25% of our energy needs at that time the rest of our electricity was mainly being generated using gas. Thats before there are millions more vehicles charging up daily in the future.

Most solar and wind farms sure helped boosts CCP economy, that's where the parts came from.

We were driving out west and a flat bed tractor trailer passed us going the opposite way and carrying just one arm of a windmill. It was so enormous we couldn’t believe it. It hung at least 8-10 feet past the end of the flat bed and was protected by a follow vehicle with flashing lights. We truly couldn’t get over the size of it.

It is bad enough to put these ugly and inefficient energy windmills on our landscape ! Putting them out in our oceans with a shortened life due to salt water and the impact on our oceans is stupid on a grand scale !

Car manufacturers over the couple of months have started to release their first hydrogen vehicles both Toyota and Kawasaki.

I love Barnaby. He's like my uncle. I love wind turbines as well. So i guess I'm conflicted. The swindle though here is the economic paradigm being employed. Renewables work best when you've got oversupply plus excess storage. That's when the price of power goes to zero. But the government actually doesn't want that, because this drives away investors. So it's the consumer who ends up paying. That's the swindle.

The setup costs/infrastructure for windfarms is far too expensive, full stop! The Federal government can't just offset the setup costs by putting up the money to start it all up in the hope that investors get involved. Invest instead in best-practice coal/gas/nuclear for effective, reliable energy supply. Someone tell Albo hes dream'n 🤣
