Albanese slammed over cost-of-living inaction amid petrol price surge
Sky News host Paul Murray slams Prime Minister Anthony Albanese over his inaction to “lower the cost-of-living” as petrol prices continue to surge.
“I am going to return to a favoured topic of mine which is petrol prices around the country,” he said
“I am assuming by now the prime minister has well and truly turned off, but still, his government inherited 23 cents per litre as the taxation.
“However, they decided to increase it … they are all about the cost-of-living but they won’t cut that tax.
“That cut would be beneficial to people when they are paying, we checked this tonight, $2.13 in Sydney, $2.21 in Melbourne, $2.28 in Brisbane.”

Labor government cracks down on Coles and Woolworths but keeps petrol prices high. Trucks transport food to these companies if the fuel price is high the customer pays.
Petrol in Brisbane jumped up 48 cents over night. At 70 litres that's an additional $33.00 a fill. Heading back home we were able to get it for $1.92 outside Brisbane but it hadn't gone up yet. Every time it goes up it goes higher than the previous increase.

Prices here are in liters. $2.21 here is same as $8.36 for a gallon in US.

That's for a gallon isn't it ?? If so a US gallon is about 3.8 litres. In OZ the fuel price is for one litre.
Yet its still to expensive to,buy and run a ev But thats the plan raise petrol until its cheaper then inflated ev costs You'll own nothing and be happy remember that

Shell Cole's gives you 4 cents off but they selling it for $2.35 a liter lucky they are there for the battlers🙄
