I rode the twinpig. Fun board. Very stable. Doesn’t turn as fast as my gnu-money. The profile gives great control. Board is easier to line up before a bid jump.

Thanks for your take.

I've been considering a 154 twinpig, im 6'2 190 and size 13 boot. Haven't found many other boards that fit my style like the twinpig seems to- more of a freestyle to all mountain freestyle. Enjoy butters, glades, sidehits, rails, and small-med jumps, but spend most the time being playful everywhere i go really. Thanks for the helpful vid!

Thanks for the good words and you could for sure go 154 if park is the priority. I would consider 156w or 157 if you want more of an all rounder. with 13's the only board that will feel like we described in the review will be the 156w. If you want a normal mtn freestyle board for 13's, then go 157

@Justin hahah dang was just looking at both these boards. Got the 157 twinpig. We have almost exact same dimensions. 6'3' 190 size 12.5 lol. I'm hoping the 157 isn't too big with volume shift but I think it will be worth it for powder days.

I picked up a Ride Super Pig last season used, absolute loved the flow and speed of the board (it's a missile!) . The only downside is the board is super stiff for all day resort riding, am I on the right track with the Ride Twin for a similar feel carving just with a little more forgiving flex? Are the boards too similar, should I be looking at other options for a daily fun driver? 5'8 198lb size 8.5-9 boot.

The TwinPig is a perfect compliment to the Superpig and there is little to no overlap going from a wide tapered directional ride to a wide softer asym twin. What size super pig do you have?

So with your specs you would have liked the 151/Medium Superpig a lot better. I had trouble controlling the 154 Superpig with Size 9 boots, 185lbs at 5'10" but the 151 was much easier and still charged hard. Check my review. Go 151 Twinpig. It will be super fun for an asym take on a mountain freestyle to park take on a short/wide ride.

I’m goofy footed and confused about this Asym twinpig, my question is this board made for both stances or only goofy or only regular? Haven’t been able to find an answer online. I ride goofy and sometimes switch and am 6 feet 195lb size 11 boot, will be purchasing the 154 twinpig. Appreciate your response!

It is an asym twin so yes it is made to go either way with reg or goofy riders. On my TwinPig it says "right foot" over one insert. This will help you get your heel side on the shorter/deeper sidecut and your toe side on the longer shallower side cut so it rides correctly. You also want to set this up perfectly duck (aka 15 front/-15 back) and centered to match the asymmetry. the 154 will work well for your specs. Cheers!

I'm thinking of getting this next to my Bataleon Goliath. Great board, but a bit on the stiffer side. I'm 180cm boot size 10.5 and I almost ordered the 156W until I read that the not W boards are already wide enough just now. So I was thinking 154 then? Or will 151 also work? I mostly ride mellow groomers and want to learn to butter.

Thanks! You are right in between sizes. The 154 is really wide and hard to control for 10's when the snow gets messy/uneven. It will float a lot better and be more fun to turn in good snow. The 151 will be a better all day ride and you will be able to control it with your boot size and weight a lot better. So probably 151 unless you want a pow/good conditions ride.

Awesome review! I’m 5’3 weigh 72kgs and wear a size US 7 & 8 boot. My current board is the Salomon villain in a 150cm. I’m looking for a shorter board and the twin pig is calling my name. Would you recommend the 136 or 142 for me

Many thanks! You are inbetween the 142 and 148. If they had a 145 that would be perfect. I would probably go 142 even though it's a little small as the 148 is going to be a little too big for ya. Definitely don't do the 136.

I think you might like the 151 better if you want something more playful and quick or the 154 if you want more mountain speed but it will be a little slow edge to edge.

I'm pretty much same specs as you, 178, 5'9" but size 12 boots, do I have to ride the 156W?

I think you could easily have a time on the 154 based on your specs. You could fit the 151 too depending on how you want to ride as these are very wide boards. They will feel a bit different based on my take from being a size 9 but you will still have a lot of fun.

Hi, I'm 193cm and 90kg weight, would you recommend 154 or 157? 12US boot size, I would like to use it sometimes in the powder conditions, but still have fun time on the slope, with some easy tricks and switch riding.

I did , 151 would be good according to weight , but I also don’t want the board to be that wide with a size 8.5 boot . You had mentioned that

8.5 is fine with the 151. Im a size 9, 185lbs n 5'10" and the 151 was great. You are only 1/2 size smaller but taller n heavier so you should be super happy with the 151. You might find the 148 too small and bucky.

I am 5'7 160 pounds. Should I go with 148cm, size 8.5 boots? I usually ride a 151cm Burton Blunt. Also is this board going to be good for park ride as well? I usually just ride down the mountain but needing a board that can be used in the park as well.

Yeah 148 is probably the better call. The 151 is pretty wide and coming from a 151 you might have surface area shock ;-) Yes it should work in the park very well.

i am 5'10 170ish lbs. Should I go with a 151? Im currently on a 154 Capita DOA and dont wanna have it feel to small.

They keep changing up the top sheet which changes the feel a little but overall they are all very similar.

How's it going? I'm 5'7, around 145lbs but here's the kicker, I wear a US12 boot. I'm liking what the twinpig offers but I'm not sure what size I should go for. I'm leaning towards 154 because of the width but I'm not too sure. Great review btw!

Man that is tough with 12's for those specs. I'd probably go 151 as it can still handle 12's. It's pretty wide over the inserts.

I'm considering this board or the 2023 Nitro Team 159 Wide, not sure which to get yet. I'm 185cm, 85 kilos and have a mondo size of 290 (44 EU Nitro Team TLS). I'm guessing the 154cm would be the correct for me? Or would a 151 work and be more playful? I see a lot of conflicting opinions about the Twinpig, some say it's "meh / mediocre" and some praise it endlessly.

You are in between the 154 and 151. I would probably go 154 if you want a faster more mountain freestyle ride but it might be hard to turn. There are a lot of conflicting opinions on pretty much every board out there. You just have to find the one that is right for your specs, the conditions you ride and how you ride. I used the form and sent you a request with a lot more details :) I guess I'll end up with two boards, one playful one and one that's more stable that is more suitable for speedruns, but still be a bit playful. I've already been testing the Nitro Team 159W and I think it's great, but at the same time I also want a true twin so that I can properly ride switch and fool around with skate-type-tricks on the slopes - but still be able to turn and carve reliably on hard-packed resort-snow.

Been eying up the 2023 twinpig. Was really considering going for the Warpig, or Psychocandy, (more money equals a better board right….) but everything I’m seeing about the twinpig pushes me toward it. Just gotta figure out 148 or 151… 😂

@@thegoodridesnow thanks for your reply! right now i'm using a nitro optysim 2022 147. i don't dislike the board, but i don't think it's the right fit for me. i've lost the tail while buttering a lot. i think the size is good, but i feel like smaller would fit me better.

I rode that Optisym a while back. Very fun but pretty soft. They make it in a 149 and 146. Can you tell me which of those 2 you have?

I took the 154 for more pow friendly. I usualy ride 162w, 151 seem very small to me. Did the 154 Will still be good ?

For 80% groomed resort 20% butters is this better (2023) or a Capita Ultrafear? 6,4" (194cm) and 164lb (74kg) with US 10,5 boots and "L" bindings Beginner-intermediate so no high speeds and mean carves Ty!!

The Ultrafear is mostly a park board that is super soft. I would go Twinpig 151 or 154 based on what you wrote.

Yeah the 154 or 157 will work great for you. This is a really wide board so if you want easier maneuverability go 154. If you have a quiver the 154 might be more fun too. If you want more speed and better float in pow 157.

Your weight is better for the 151 and boot size better for the 148 so depends on what you have now and how you like it. If you ride a little bigger for your specs (especially boot size) go 151. How would you compare Twinpig to Ride Zero?

Didn't ride the Zero so very hard to say with any certainty. All I can say is the Twinpig is more short/wide asym twin where the Zero is a traditional sized asym twin. So it should turn really quick but won't be as easy to throw around/spin compared to the Twinpig.

Judging from the comments, it seems like a 151 would be best for me (6ft, 180lbs, size 11 boot). I like more playful though and I don't mind sacrificing speed for fun. I don't do any big stuff, just small park stuff and dinking around on the sides of the runs. With that in mind, would the 148 work? Or is that just too little volume?

At your specs the 154 would be the better fit so 151 will already be small n playful. I ride the 151. Im a size 9, 185lbs, 5'10" and its perfect. Playful and fun. 148 is way too small for you so id pass on that size.

Great. Actually, GREATS!!! Really interested in the Yes Greats. I am 6ft 175lbs and size 11US boots. Ya think 154 or 156 will do it? I already have a Hovercraft 160 for powder and big carving, so the greats will be my all mtn, side hit, cruising and park board. Will be going to BC next week (revy, big white, whistler, sun peaks), and gonna pair the boards with the Orion Bindings from Jones and Bandito Christenson boots from 32. Thanks!

@@kieranhowell577 I find it perfect for me (11 US). It is 27.6 cm wide under front and rear foot. Which is quite a lot. For reference, it is wider underfoot than my Hovercraft (27,15 front and 26,91 back) - an already wide board. I love the Greats.
