I'm actually glad for the bait the switch, in this context. I strongly dislike spoiling the set up in a comedy. Slim chance that's why they did it, but actually not mad about it. Great bit though, I think.

Both Ricky Gervais and Dave Chappelle are the top of the comedy tree. Not just their humour but the way they deliver it.

There is no such thing as near death experience, you are alive means you didn't die at first place, even if your heart stopped, your brain doesn't die instantly, neural activity happens for few minutes after that, and your brain shows you weird stuff during that time, that doesn't mean you have near death experience. It is just your dying brain's neurons firing weirdly.

And then there is the woman that took Egyptian archaeologists to a temple they didn’t know about and also spoke the ancient Egyptian language but had no previous knowledge of the area/language? The evidence is there for all to see. Too many undisputed claims to not believe. Not trying to change anyone’s mind just stating what I personally believe.

I've heard Christians boasting about they were seriously ill in hospital and they prayed to God and survived. I've been seriously ill in hospital I never prayed and I'm still here twenty years later many others who prayed didn't. Last week I put a tenner on a horse and won eighty quid; that doesn't prove that if you put a tenner on a horse you will win eighty quid . it's luck not cause and effect 😂
