I love how the Belmont's adopted the Speakers look in their outfit.I also love how much of an impact Sypha had on the whole family.

I love Richter's personality. He's cocky, yet noble and well-meaning.

poor Juste Belmont It seems like magic is linked to their mental state. Richter was forced to face his trauma and in those memories he found that he wanted to live and protect those he loved. Maybe Juste having found his family again might find a reason to fight again and the power he lost.

To think Juste may have also meet his grandfather when he was young, Simon Belmont himself, it just gives me chills that at least in this timeline, Richter and Simon are so close in generations

Also, Alucard's return to the spotlight was fantastic.

is what was forgotten about belmonts is that they arent afraid of death, but instead they are afraid of giving up on fighting for those they love or what they stand for? i remember something like that being siad. idk the exact words.

He is truly the best of both Trevor and Sypha. I even see a little bit of Alucard in him with his mastery of the sword and knives. So glad to see this series back in all its glory. Had me on the edge of my seat the entire time. 😎😄👍

This is insanely beautiful. You captured Richter's character lore perfectly with those edits The traits of Sypha and Trevor can be seen in Richter. I love it so much

If Sypha's bloodline has made Belmonts go from Trevor to Richter 300 years down the line (Probably 10 generations, conservatively), then if they go ahead with pairing Richter and "Descendant of a God of War and Iron" Annette, then the Belmonts are only getting spicier the more time passes. Wonder if they'll do Aria of Sorrow next? That's set in essentially the modern day, so another ~300 year jump.

When you look it like that... the writes of the series are practically giving a reason to why after Trevor, the Belmonts just kept getting more and more powerful even when their numbers dwindled. Someone badass married someone else badass, and a few generations down the road all that badassery converges and we get the such level of badassery that feels almost paradoxical. Richter's way of fighting with magic is like both Sypha and Trevor put together, he has no fear of getting close and punching the shit out a few leechs but her does use the magic in creative ways. By the way, just to be sure... Sypha didn't had ANY fear of getting close, homegirl may not have punched but she had not qualms about "throwing hands" with the leechs, and they all regretted getting inside her range.

Richter Belmont and Alucard kicking some Butt in next season.

4:02 to see the cross after richter was really wonderfull. It remembered me to castlevania simphony of the night, when richter uses the holy cross.

A while back, I had to make a character for a dnd campaign and initially I wanted to make Trevor Belmont in some form but I ended making a magic slinging fighter (the eldritch knight class). After doing that I couldn't really feel my original image mesh with what I had but Richter now makes that image feel possible.

​@@jonathonpolk3592 that's really not a modification, just summon a whip/bind a whip as your pact weapon rather then a sword. Maybe invest in raising your movement speed and take slasher so you can use the whip's reach to kite.

It probably could have done with a couple of more episodes for sure, but it *was* mostly just a setup season, so hopefully, we get 2-3 more seasons out of it.

"Something you forgot about Belmonts, stupid of me, i'd forgotton it too... we don't run away." Would've been better than "...eh f*ck it."

Game lore wise, Richter is the youngest Belmont who faced and defeated Dracula, which is one reason why he's considered really strong. But even in the show, he's still young and can already do magic, something which Trevor couldn't do. So maybe it's close match but I think Richter is still stronger. But give Richter the morning star whip, and no competition, Richter will destroy Trevor

This was the worst part for me since Richter is my favorite character from the games, but if you just watch it as a different story, not a representation of the og material, you'll have fun. I know I did. Don't worry, just don't think of it as Castlevania Rondo/Symphony/Dracula X/Nocturne of Recollection, but as it's own thing

Didn't Richter in the games fuck up so badly that he was possessed by Dracula, almost destroyed the world, and basically put the entire Belmont family out of commission for the next few centuries? Seems to me like a much, much bigger fuck up than running away from the monster who's been haunting him since he was a kid because of a panic attack he couldn't keep under control. Especially considering that he made up for it later.

I didn't like him, I didn't like his character, and his fragility. So much zoomer.

Richter like ALL the Belmonts collaborates with the church, which is not evil, but these people (those who made this series I mean) are bastard atheists, almost certainly :D. I am not observant and do not believe, but I recognize the power of the church AT LEAST in a work of fiction... Americans are so woke, I'm sorry for what they are doing to this nation, propaganda and wokeness.
