They have the best dynamic, they really do fit the description of ‘niche corner’ incredibly well. They have the dynamic of longtime friends that end up married but they’ve been together so long that they’re kind of sick of each other but they vibe really well. Like a pair of gay dads/husbands that never get along but just work together. I could just imagine them getting up to all kinds of trouble as like school friends. Which would be a really cool book/show, just the small town’s goth kid and nerdy kid (the kind of nerd that’s into really obscure stuff, probably doesn’t do well in school but could tell you loads about the most random subjects) getting up to all kinds of stuff, like fighting cryptids or solving murders

It's a British thing. Listen to David Bowie roasting MTV back in the back. Very calm, kind. I think Brain May also did it a couple of times.

“These 2 ancient fucks!” Favourite line ever
Oh my god, the face Richard made when Jimmy mentioned Submarine. He just couldn't stifle the smile. Given his usual dry demeanor, he must've been cheering inside at that moment. This warms my heart. You can tell he was so proud and coudn't contain himself.

It's a brilliant film he should really be proud off. I'd be the same way in his shoes lol
“has anyone read the Da Vinci Code?” “Get fucked” 😂😂😂
it’s “these two ancient fucks” that always gets me crying cause they didn’t do anything but he’s right they just let it happen
It always impresses me just how much Richard can make other comedians laugh.

Subverting their expectation is probably the best source of humour for a comedian.
Richard freaked out Mel B better than Eric Andre and that is something to be proud of.

I always thought Richard was genuinely a little mad when his tray of sweets were taken, and decided to take that energy and turn it into a joke. The way he sat on it though, waiting for the best moment, that’s what makes him an insanely great comedian.
My favorite thing about Mel B being on that show is that she would rather be eating broken glass.

Whether from the US or the UK or outer space, just like a Blak person to throw in a "Yo momma" jab! "Was it your mum" and "your mum" = "Yo momma". LMAO!
"I worked HARD in the morning" always has me rolling
The iconic tray of sweets meltdown is so amazing
Richard's meltdown remains to be one of the best thing to come out of this show
they are Britain's power couple
Every time they team up it’s so easy to see that they’re clearly the strongest team at the start, by the midway point they decide to go balls to walls insanity and come out with some of the most insane answers on the show, then by the end they’re both nearly asleep. It’s like watching kids on a sugar high, it’s fantastic.
I feel like Noel was underused on IT Crowd. Such a funny guy.

underused and still managed to be the best character in the show. Noel's character is also one of the most memorable
11:50 is perhaps the most fun that they ever had there lol 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 "use me, use me as a premise" epic line
Noel’s ensembles are gorgeous - and hilarious - that ruffly New Romantic poetic shirt was amazing. Also, I’ve been watching this for years, and I just noticed that Noel has lovely baby blues.

I love this duo so much
Richard's very funny. I fkn love when he gets mad. "There's blood in my ears now. It's very hard to climb down from this energy"
2:03 this whole bit gets me every time
1:34 This throws me back to film studies, cause we literally studied Submarine in class. It’s a really good film!
“Go’on boy, go’on. Fetch us a point”
noel's giggling works so well with a sraight edge partner, morcambe and wise eat your heart out LOL
Roses are red, Violets are blue, Ghost Toast - Noel Fielding
Lol I’m watching this for the first time, loving Richard’s banter
Noel and richard are a perfect team
Mel was clearly not used to being out gunned by a totally not star struck Geeky Richard
12:24 this part kills me EVERY time
"The F*cking Crow Boy!" 🤣
"It wasn't just that the sex had gone wrong" HAHA lol
I have never seen Jimmy roasted this hard. I laughed so hard at how really good it was xD
Submarine is actually a really good film
I tried to play this in the background while trying to be productive and all I can say is...mission failed, we'll get 'em next time 😭
The "your mum" rabbit hole Richard and Noel go down is my favorite. Simple, funny, and effective
ah yes, glad to see we were all raised by these two :)
nice compilation :) i gotta say the substitute teacher bit is one of my favorites, glad to see it on here
Felt genuinely sorry for Richard when they stole his sweets 😩
The your mum bit is so funny
I love Richard and Noel 😂😂
If they ever need to replace Statler and Waldorf these two would make pretty good looking Muppets.
Morten Harket wants his jacket back! 🤣😂🤣😂
5:27 I don’t know why but Rob throwing sweets over his shoulder is hilarious to me

Watching Richard's explosive mental pong at each of them, again, made me recapture how damn funny it was. Then, the brief breath, &"comedown," when he takes that cola bottle. Splendid. Noel's random outbursts kill me. 😅
This is what happens when the nerd and the goth sit together at the start of the school year
Adam Buxton is a hero of mine, but I can't help laughing when Richard calls him an ancient fuck.
Rixhard is surprisingly hot, and its the charisma that really clenches it
I couldnt belive how funnier Richard is as a person than Moss from IT Crowd when i first saw him on a panel show.
04:30. And the LEGENDARY Meltdown at 12:05. Amazing. 😂👍🎉
Someone needs to make tshirts of richard eating a banana
Richard Ayoade is incredibly funny. He's like a real-life Sheldon Cooper except not incredibly annoying to watch/listen to.
God this is 1 of the funniest things I've ever watched
Shout out to Aisling Bea accidentally dropping chocolate down her shirt...
16:48 I think that's the most genuine laugh I've heard for him omfg
I've made a fool of myself, on 2 separate occasions when meeting Noel and Richard. I became a starstruck mumbling fool. They seemed nice.
“She was getting the real cheap shit as well” absolutely sent me
Richard Ayoade and Mel B is the rom-com you never knew you needed. At the start of the film it seems like their differences are insurmountable, but somehow the film takes you on the journey of a lifetime to true love.
Chelsea Peretti is sitting in front of a picture of Napoleon. The likeness is striking.
These two have made me laugh so hard
Just remember if you can't stand Mel b, there is a Mel b-free edit of The big fat quiz of 2015. And the only thing you'll miss is the joke at the very beginning of this particular clip.

Noel had me dying at 9:20... that just came out of nowhere XD
The smug smile Rob has as he's eating Richard's chocolate is the expression of a man who is entirely unaware that he's about to be verbally eviscerated later in the compilation
everything from 8:50 to 9:57 was priceless 👏 I love british humour
The " Your Mum" bit kills me every time! 🤣
Rob Beckett summed up beautifully as the school bully
I love this show
