There is a palpable dynamic with Mel and Richard and Mel and Noel Fielding. Richard's character is usually dry but when people like Mel and Noel are around he is warm and receptive.

That salt and vinegar joke needed a little bit of a precursor. In the full episode if I recall correctly, Jimmy jokes in the welcome message after the break that the colors for the crisps were changed. Mel then re-visits Jimmy's joke quite a while later by asking if salt and vinegar is blue, but in this edit it is just confusing and seemingly random. The full episode is available on this The Big Fat Quiz Channel, and I highly recommend it, regardless if you want to get the full context of the crisps joke.

“I don’t want you to feel like I want to leave” is classic mom logic. Every time I go to my parents house (which is always freezing BTW) my mom gets mad at me for wearing a jacket inside because I “look like I’m ready to walk out the door”

After many of Richards previous appearances being a bit snarky and standoffish (in the sense that you do what you like, ill do what I like, we can exist as we must, but we will do so peacefully or it will become everyone's problem (as part of his schtick of course. but still hes an intelligent comedian, and kind of paints himself into a corner with the whole antisocial thing sometimes), seeing Mel's Auntie that just wants to be buddies with her sisters kids (who cares if they may be adopted) vibes be so perfectly out of phase that instead of canceling and getting a painfully awkward pairing their mutual off kilter vibes invert each other and constructively mix into an adorable team!

Yeah....but most people who get modern pop culture references think Blink 182 is a classic rock band the way 90s kids made our older siblings cringe when we made a stink about 'discovering this cool old band.....lead zeplane.....or something like that.....' Ive legitimately had to stop myself from backhanding some little shitling who was getting all high and mighty because they happened across this neat old band no one really knows about and probably wouldnt be into, its too bad they're not touring anymore after the lead singer shot himself..... The times they are a changin.....all we are is farts in the wind.....pungent in the moment then fading to a distant memory.....

Yes, Rosie's speech is slow, but it sounds like you may have an attention issue. Not surprising given the high speed stimuli in this world increasing, creating people with shorter attention spans. I hope it doesn't impact on your other forms of enjoyment, etc.
