Theres already been a person to sing in space, and he played guitar. His Name is Chris Hadfield and he played and sang David Bowies Space oddity on the ISS, where he was also commander.

Singing in space and being the first singer in space are very close to the same thing, but I'm confident that because Hadfield wasn't a singer by trade that it still just barely counts. I guess if we replaced the words "first singer" with "first vocalist" it might be more acceptable.

At the time of this episode it was 2012. I believe Hadfield did it in 2013. But you are correct he was the first to do it in space since Brightman canceled her trip.

What are you talking about? Corden has always been a little annoying (as almost all comedians are, that sort of the point). It wasn't until he got to America that we totally corrupted him or something and he really got unbearable. I don't mind him all that much in this era of his.

I was beginning to think he lost his mind on the last big fat quiz because he started telling anecdotes that were either just not funny or they were downright disturbing like getting a dog's schlong dragged across his face...

I feel like James Corden is better when he’s in the UK. Lots of British comedians struggle in the United States but are way funnier on their home turf. I imagine for many US comedians it’s the same way in the UK.

I'm sure you're not the only one who clearly learned the word for the first time through Among Us - nothing wrong with that at all, I can think of a fair few words I learned from games myself. But your own personal awareness level has no bearing on the fact that plenty of us were laughing at the hashtag being about "sus anal" at the time. Also, out of curiosity, how common does a word need to be for it to mean what it means? Is there just, like, a top 100, and everything else is nothing?

It's videos like this that make me pause and wonder why did I stop watching this and why did I leave Richard in the bin

Corden was on in 2008 I think and took it very seriously and was mocked and shut down for it. So when he comes back in 2012? Bugger it all. Love it.

A bit like Robbie Williams and his "song writing credits". Smithy was a great character but no one will ever be able to convince me that James Corden is a funny person.

Wish american TV was this open and free flowing. James Corden, I think, is the English version of Chris Farley. Like Farley, Corden is a great physical comedian and has great comedic delivery. Ayoade was funny as hell in this vid with his BJ thing....so funny.

First off, it’s an amazing coincidence and that’s why it was so funny. Doesn’t mean it wasn’t also unfortunate but it’s not our fault for noticing and laughing. Secondly, who on the PR team didn’t notice what it said when written as one word for a hashtag??

it's basically just a gimmicky excuse to have comedians banter. it's sort of a faux game show, but there's no real winners or losers, it's just for the sake of having fun. mock the week is similar, they do it almost like jepoardy mixed with who's line is it anyway, where they pick a topic, sort fo tell jokes around a recent news thing, then take breaks by, picking a topic and doing a minute or so of stand up comedy about it.

I liked James in gavin and Stacy but everything else he's super annoying. Hope his career ends 'You may say I'm a dreamer, but I'm not the only one....' 🎶

You must have gotten videos confused when making the titles because that did not occur in this video...
