Guys, after 8 hours of wear, I could see NO DISCERNABLE difference between the 2 sides. They both looked and behaved exactly the same. Both seemed to control oils well. My rating has gone from a 6/10 to a 7/10. Not a bad foundation at all!!

Thanks for this. I have been trying to find a new foundation ever since Clarins discontinued my Everlasting for their reformulated version😵‍💫. (Even the new velvet one from Clarins doesn't impress.) I will try a sample of this one since we have similar skin. Have you tried Clarice's HD full coverage? I have heard it's good🤷‍♀. Thanks for your informative channel🌺

Thanks for the review... I never seem to have much luck with Revlon. I wish was acquainted with this foundation years ago when it was more effective as you mentioned. xo

This foundation is my go to work foundation. Works best without primer so I only used a thin layer of power before applying to control oil even better. I work outdoors in resort in Hawaii and I still look flawless after a entire shift after sweating.

​@@NamelessVoice808 This is my ride or die! I had switched to l'oreal Infallible Fresh Wear for a while and high end but I always come back to this one! I thought they were discontinuing it and I stocked up lol come to find out it was a reformulation.

Hi Sue this video was very brightly lit and it wasn't easy to see either the swatches, nor how the foundation looked on the skin. For a foundation review these are fairly needed to get a really good idea of how they looked. I appreciate lighting can be challenging, but for a foundation comparison it is essential to be able to see it. Perhaps going closer to the camera near the end once it was applied would give a better indication of how it really looked on the skin, or some photos in natural light etc. A spoken comparison isn't quite as valuable as seeing it close up, but from what I could see both looked fine. This isn't a foundation that I can use - I just can't get a colour match anywhere near my skintone (especially when it's the normal/dry version I would need). I'm glad you liked it better than you remembered (it went up a point lol). It is an iconic foundation and the new formulation seems to be getting a decent amount of hype and positive reviews. Thanks for the feedback Loraine, we'll noted. I'm wearing the new version today, sometimes one day of wear is not really enough to judge. I will see how it fares as we have hectic humidity at the moment and our offices don't have aircon!

@@Fifty-sense I hope it does work for you. We're having minus degrees weather with thick frost this week brrrrr. It's very cold and minus six today. It would be more likely to crack from frost here than melt off due to humidity lol. First impressions are always just that and sometimes our opinion can change as we use something more. A favourites and fails video often gives the opportunity for an update etc. x

The first foundation I tried when I was 7 years old was Revlon (stole it from my mother’s makeup bag)

Makeup was the forbidden fruit until I was about 15!

The original version was the best. I have not tried the newest though. I hope it’s closer to the OG. I’m gonna have to check it out. I used to be able to mow the yard and come inside and still have my makeup intact when it was the OG

I agree, the original version before the Soft flex version was the best. I did not like the Softflex version at all and stopped buying it. I have not bought their foundations since then

The very first one was the best. I use to wear it on stage. It was really thick and lasted all day. It was difficult to wash off. I feel its not as good now.

That may be the one with Soft flex. It was the BEST! It literally lasted 24 hrs!

The Soft-Flex Formula was my favourite and whatever this one is, I dislike it. Any recommendation for something that is drugstore, transfer-proof and looks good on pores?

Hi Silvana. The nicest foundation for my pores is the Loreal infallible freshwear. But sadly it is not transfer proof. It really is a great drugstore foundation though.

I hate that the Colorstay formula is changed every 5 minutes.
