No rust? Would like to have seen the underneath and behind the sill covers, that’s where the problems usually are on these.

The Marmite Jag, the S Type, love it or hate it. A 3ltr V6 was my first Jag and I loved it. Now on my sixth, but, I would have loved to get my hands on the one sorted by Elvis.

Purely personal preference but I would have left the smaller pulley on the supercharger. A smidge more boost won't hurt the car and it'll get it to go that little bit harder.

I'd love to see a World Oil Pouring Championships. Car Ninja has to be odds on favourite, but maybe Elvis and co. just need some practice

You for real? Don’t get the hate just cos the change of mechanics of this show. I really like all 3 of them. They all bring things slightly different too but all equally as good. Hope they got all 3 on for the special like they’ve been talking about. Imagine Ed, Ant and Elvis all together? That would be epic

My previous car was a 3.0l v6 s-type , my current car is a 4.2l v8 s-type. A Jaguar technician recommended 10/40 semi synthetic for both of them to avoid the cam adjusters/sensors throwing fault codes. He also told me to change it at 5000miles. I've followed his advice and had no problems. I sold the 3.0l with 210,000 miles on it , it was still running perfectly.

"Vintage" does NOT start at 2002, it is 1919 to 1930. A Classic S-Type would be a 1963-8 model. I had an 04 model and it was wonderful. I found an excellent independent garage not far away who kept it on top form for reasonable money. I was very sad to see it go and I still miss it. That is a Mk1 body (Mk2 interior), is it 4 ltr?

You didn’t need to recoat the rotors. I’ve owned a bunch of supercharged cars (Pontiac Grand Prix GTP, Caddy CTS-V, Ford Lightning, Audi A6) and the Teflon always comes off. There’s very little difference maybe a couple of degrees of intake temp. You should have used a solid coupler too, along with an anaerobic sealer to seal the snout. And Jesus man, leave the smaller pulley!!

@@MikeL-FL This was all for TV, solid coupler is durable but on odler engines can rattle... sprung are easily capable on this to take the power. Agree would have kept the pulley... if you notice though he's assembling just for show because he put the snout on the wrong way around!

Car manufacturers are only concerned with the early (warranted) life of a car. Engine oil flush is only really worth it in older, high mileage cars with dodgy or unknown history.
