Right on! Just bought that Jag in your video 3wks and and have this problem. I just thought the lights were crap and bought led conversion. Thanks bro ✌️
This is an old episode but a very cool car, I'm looking forward to seeing the new series
No rust? Would like to have seen the underneath and behind the sill covers, that’s where the problems usually are on these.
The Marmite Jag, the S Type, love it or hate it. A 3ltr V6 was my first Jag and I loved it. Now on my sixth, but, I would have loved to get my hands on the one sorted by Elvis.
Full carbon clean wouldn't go a miss
Nice Jag!
Ooh that's handy didn't show the test drive
It's not 'Vintage' yet, it's old...
Purely personal preference but I would have left the smaller pulley on the supercharger. A smidge more boost won't hurt the car and it'll get it to go that little bit harder.
I'd love to see a World Oil Pouring Championships. Car Ninja has to be odds on favourite, but maybe Elvis and co. just need some practice
With Ant and Ed you saw more work than talking unlike Elvis where we hardly see him do work

You for real? Don’t get the hate just cos the change of mechanics of this show. I really like all 3 of them. They all bring things slightly different too but all equally as good. Hope they got all 3 on for the special like they’ve been talking about. Imagine Ed, Ant and Elvis all together? That would be epic

I believe that is the shows producers to blame and its the reason Edd left, don't know about Ant.
Nice Info,,,,, super charger service
For those wondering, that's COMMA XTECH 5W30 engine oil. I use it for my Xtype.

My previous car was a 3.0l v6 s-type , my current car is a 4.2l v8 s-type. A Jaguar technician recommended 10/40 semi synthetic for both of them to avoid the cam adjusters/sensors throwing fault codes. He also told me to change it at 5000miles. I've followed his advice and had no problems. I sold the 3.0l with 210,000 miles on it , it was still running perfectly.
"Vintage" does NOT start at 2002, it is 1919 to 1930. A Classic S-Type would be a 1963-8 model. I had an 04 model and it was wonderful. I found an excellent independent garage not far away who kept it on top form for reasonable money. I was very sad to see it go and I still miss it. That is a Mk1 body (Mk2 interior), is it 4 ltr?
Hi I love my jaguars but was wondering if you were going to buy a jaguar x type 2.5 😂😂
You didn’t need to recoat the rotors. I’ve owned a bunch of supercharged cars (Pontiac Grand Prix GTP, Caddy CTS-V, Ford Lightning, Audi A6) and the Teflon always comes off. There’s very little difference maybe a couple of degrees of intake temp. You should have used a solid coupler too, along with an anaerobic sealer to seal the snout. And Jesus man, leave the smaller pulley!!

I'm sure the ex-formula one engineer will appreciate you telling him how to do his job.

@@Silverback0687 Just because he worked in F1 doesn’t mean he knows dick about street cars. What was the last F1 car you saw with an Eaton supercharger?

@@MikeL-FL This was all for TV, solid coupler is durable but on odler engines can rattle... sprung are easily capable on this to take the power. Agree would have kept the pulley... if you notice though he's assembling just for show because he put the snout on the wrong way around!
I like the 10 minute clips. More mechanical and less mouth (Mike).
I’m a jag slag 🥰
I ask the author to help or subscribers, I don’t remember in which video I saw that after restyling the modernized supercharger seems to be either smaller in diameter or more blades that give 420 instead of 400

Is this true or not? Because nowhere is there information about this even from the manufacturer of the supercharger

No manufacturer says to ever use a engine flush!!!!!!!

I think I will go with the F1 mechanic knowing what he is doing

Car manufacturers are only concerned with the early (warranted) life of a car. Engine oil flush is only really worth it in older, high mileage cars with dodgy or unknown history.

My bet is that Jag is now in the scrap yard when the engine /gearbox let go and waved goodbye!!.
i used to watch every episode , but i dropped pay tv due to the amount of adverts , so i thought this would be good on you tube ,but these 10 minute clips are pointless
