The Victorio Stovepop is a simple, durable improvement upon the Whirley Pop. It's nothing fancy, but that's the beauty of it.
It takes a lot of trial and error to get the right burner intensity and rate of heating/cooling, but with practice, surprisingly balanced roasts are possible from city to French. Consistent batch sizes (i use 8oz green) make this process much easier.
Tip: use peaberry coffees when possible, since they roll easily on the surface and end up more even!
