Electroharmonix is so underrated these days. They’re coming out with pedals to compete with boutique brands for prices that normal people can afford.

NO DAMN TONE CONTROL WTF? I love the modulation sound of the doubler, what other delay does that? I have the DECO and it comes close

I would label this video an introduction and not a review demo.

super bummed that Loudermilk reunion got postponed. oh yeah also super bummed about all that other plague stuff too I suppose, but...the Loudermilk reunion...

Can anybody give me a comparison of this with a Flashback 2 ? Looper on this one is much longer, but what else can this do better than the Flashback?

2 more delay types, more buttons ehx is better overall imo, but you're not losing out on a whole lot if the flashback is more your style

Jonathan Goodman Flashback is a good pedal, I have the Flashback X4 but I didn’t know much when I bought or I would’ve gotten the Flashback Triple Delay because you can stack up to 3 Delays on it but on the X4 you just have 4 different presets that you can switch through but you can’t stack. I have the Disaster Transport SR and Avalanche Run too. Delays can be set up together in a chain. I have my chain going Flashback X4 -> Avalanche Run -> Disaster Transport SR -> Afterneath -> Hall of Fame 2. Those are all of my Delays and Reverbs at the end of my chain. I’m actually planning on getting a Volante to replace my Flashback. What I do is order my pedals on Guitar Center’s website and if I decide it doesn’t work well in my chain, I just return it to the Guitar Center store near me, instead of having to ship them back in the mail.

I don’t enjoy this pedal at all. I’ve watched demo videos and have never heard anyone do anything with it that amazes me. Was an impulse buy and I’m putting it on reverb

Great pro of the Grand Canyon in comparison to the Canyon is stereo. Too bad that this guy does the demo in mono. And isn't the mono always the left channel?

Alex Groen I don’t have this particular pedal but most of mine you have to put the mono line in the left jack but you can use the left or right for out.

I wonder how this thing sounds with an Acoustic/electric.?

Double tap the button twice, then hold it down until the red record light flashes really quick

does anyone know if it's TRUE bypass?? ...on the website it only says "analog bypass"

Buffered... that’s because of “tails” mode. True bypass can’t do that.

this guy has no business reviewing a pedal of this magnitude.

All those options, so many different sounds. And just one is usable on stage if you don't want to be the fool on his knees... Silly! Include presets and the option to use the internal footswitches to go up and down, with an external footswitch for tap tempo.

Sounds good, but could they make it any uglier? Embarrassed to put on my pedal board.

Grant Hutchins Check out my pedalboard. I need to put my Avalanche Run and Data Corrupter on it and I’m replacing my Flashback X4 with a Volante. I want to get a smaller pedalboard for my “front of amp Loop before preamp” and use this big one for my Effects Loop only. That would be a cave. You hear echoes at the Grand Canyon, hence the appropriateness of the name.

@@AntwhaleNearfar Actually that makes perfect sense putting it that way, thanks. I have a lot of weird pedals especially the Earthquaker Devices ones: Afterneath (Reverb in a Cave full of mist I guess but also gives some kind of swamp sounds to my ear), Disaster Transport SR which is probably my favorite pedal (2 x Delays + Reverb + multiple Modulation effects that I can’t explain), Avalanche Run (Delay with tons of controls) and I also have a TC Electronic Flashback X4 Delay but I made a mistake and wish I would’ve gotten the TC Electronic Triple Delay, TC Electronic Hall of Fame and I think those are all my delays and Reverbs but not 100% lol. Yes I do use them together, not all at once but in pairs or threes usually and get crazy sounds.
