The best part about EHX is they have everyone in mind. From any instrument, vocals, to just about what ever you can image. If not you can bet your money they are working on something for you right now.

EHX is paying attention. This a feature set that has long been missing, or created through a combination of pedals. I am impressed with how it can take time-based effects such as delay and verb, and switch the order of them without an uncontrolled blast of volume. That's what happened when I tried it with a passive effects order switcher. Really looking forward to trying this thing out.

Right?! I was just looking for the last couple ours to take my wah out of the chain when I wasn’t using it. Then I saw some stuff and thought, well I might as well get something that will run two amps also. Then I found this and and it’s does so much plus the thing I need. Brilliant pedal.

Had i had one of these, I could have saved myself the headache of trying to manage so much, or even walking into any live situation. Without fighting the patches by the unforgiving digital numbers the endles Midi soloutions that actually are fantastic , but are really counter productive, continutity and the abillity to change on the fly seamlessly to something that maximizes the effect thats really there without emulating something that you cant get there because you hands are already busy. I saw George Lynch bring all his stuff to a small venue like Sharks club , and he had no less than three amps, amd something wasnt quite right, he was so unerved that he played with his back to us as he struggled with the situation. Anything that helps the player helps the audience. This thing is a must , because it can make a good player better period.

Heaven sent!! I’ve been wanting this for 9 years. Boss LS-2 was the closest but still no cigar. Hit @ehx!!

I just had the first rehearsal with Switchblade Pro and I must say that it is awesome pedal! I play bass, having EHX Bass Clone and Deluxe Bass Big Muff PI and paralel mode opened new options for me. I must elaborate more the option of mixing dry into effect loops to get more from my sound. I am going to add Holy Grail and Canyon to experiment with the switch more.

Damn, that's a neat device! I can see this beeing the centerpiece of my bass pedalboard!

Bass Player - I'll be using this in a simple Royal Blood set up BUT it will also allow me to use it on nights when we have enough guitar and I am only playing bass. Easily blend my dry bass signal with the effects. Just a GREAT pedal.

Funny, my first EHX pedal might not be a classic like a Muff, POG, Pitchfork, Small Stone/Clone, etc., but rather it could be the utility pedal like I never knew I wanted until just recently - I’m glad I didn’t get a similar one before this was announced!

This video makes the Switchblade Pro seem almost irresistible to me, but my amp, several of my FX, and many of my instruments are stereo - I wish there was a version of this with TRS jacks, even if it doubled the cost! There’s a hole in the market for availability of a switcher-pedal that’s completely stereo-capable and has multiple-loops and routing options, I feel.

Dammit. Just bought a Switchblade+ and a passive mixer to do exactly this.

In the manual it says the following about the dry knob: "Controls the volume of signal going into the INPUT jack." Does this mean that in series mode, there is no dry signal going to the output, even if the dry-knob is clockwise? I have a sample player and a guitar. Both need to go to the same amp. I think I will put the sampler into return 1 and the guitar into the input. I have pedals in loop 2. Now which of the following can I do? 1. Send my guitar signal to loop 2, also blending in the dry guitar signal. 2. Send my guitar to loop 2, while also playing a sample from return 1. 3. Playing a sample, applying the effects in loop 2 on the sample, while playing guitar at the same (dry signal). 4. Playing a sample, applying the effects in loop 2 on the sample, while playing guitar at the same time. The guitar must also go through loop 2. 5. Playing a sample, applying the effects in loop 2 on the sample, while playing guitar at the same time. The guitar must also go through loop 2 and have dry signal blended in.

Damn, I'm tempted to replace my LS2. A smaller form factor and I would have switched without thinking.

Would it be possible to use this pedal to switch between the two different channels on my amp? I have the clean side set up with pedals but want to use my crunchy channel separately on it's own. Could this help me out? thank you!

Yes if the amp has two inputs you could do that.

What would happen if you have 3 switch blades into a Tri parallel mixer?? Does time just stop at that point?

theres no phase switch so if the signals are out of phase it will really hurt the sound badly

NO! There are phase switches for both A and B channels inside the pedal

PHASE A & B SWITCHES - These internal slide switches allow the signals at the SEND A and SEND B jacks to be flipped 180°
