Hi Derek. You might want to add the words "Torsion/anniversary clock to your title" or at least "clock". As that are key words that people search for when wanting to repair them. As always great job Derek...........Keep it up. Thanks for sharing this beautiful clock repair with us. P.S. I am glad that you are feeling better.

Hi Dell, I'm oldhippy. Did you grease or oil the mainspring. Putting the movement together, have you tried working from the bottom upwards that is the way my master taught me it makes it easier. It would also be nice to show your method of polishing and cleaning. I expect the dome is glass due to its age and not that horrible plastic.

Hi I used synthetic thin Mobil 1 engine oil as I have done for a long time , I put the movement together from the centre arbor outward and I don’t usually have that much trouble, I have done a video how I lacquer but not cleaning and polishing because I thought most people know how to clean & polish but I could do one as I have quite a few more to do and some customers.

@@torsiondell I will check that out. I think people like to know how we get things done. I used to have many people coming into my workshop and asking different things.
