Restore your gut microbiome circadian rhythm

Did you know that your gut microbiome also has a circadian rhythm?
In fact, it turns out gastric emptying in blood flow is greater during the daytime than in the evening. That means that your ability to be able to digest things is much better during the daytime.
Now, in obese individuals, the gut microbiome's problem is that the bacteria in there actually absorb more calories from your food than folks who don't weigh that much. So having weight actually works against you to help you to gain even more weight.
Now, the beauty of things like fasting is that fasting can actually restore the circadian rhythm of the gut microbiome. And in doing so can also help the bacteria to balance out. So they stop absorbing all of the extra calories they're doing so.

    everytime I fast I get a severe gastritis for weeks... anything I could do to prevent that?

    See if you can find a gut naturopath clinic to visit. It's truly not as hippie as it sounds. But if you haven't seen a normal doctor yet, it really couldn't hurt. And you never know, you may find the cause to be something else entirely.
