A big THANK YOU to YOU Deborah! It's amazing to see how Toby's music resonated with so many people for so many different reasons. His support for the forces was a rare thing to see, to say the least - but without a doubt will never be overlooked. Thank you for supporting us - we really do appreciate this community - and we're grateful we were able to contribute to Toby's memory in our own way. RIP Toby Keith February 24th, 2024

The lady in white was his wife. During the awards show, Blake Shelton presented Keith with the country music icon award, honoring him for his work as a musician, humanitarian and entrepreneur. "Bet you thought you'd never see me in skinny jeans," Keith quipped in his acceptance speech. "I want to thank the almighty for allowing me to be here tonight.

You are correct, Phil. Toby was close friends with Clint Eastwood. One day, while they were playing golf together, and just chatting. Clint, who is in his 80s, mentioned how he was making a new movie. Toby, being so impressed by Clint's work ethic asked "how do you do it?" Clint responded, "I don't let the old man in." That statement stuck with Toby, and he immediately started writing it as soon as he got home. He then showed it to Clint, who loved it, and put it in his movie "The Mule.". Rip Mr Keith, thank you for everything you accomplished in your short time with us! 😇🙏💔

Toby went through five surgeries, chemo, radiation and experimental treatments. He fought hard but said he had wrapped his mind around it all no matter what happened. He did ELEVEN USO tours for our troops in Iraq and Afghanistan. Two weeks each year for eleven years. Those were done for FREE! He also opened the OK Corral Children’s Cancer treatment center in Oklahoma City long before he got cancer himself.

As a cancer survivor, i completely relate to this song. He had already made the decision to stop chemo. I would NEVER go through chemo again - it's horrible, harder to battle than cancer, and with so much more horrible medical issues to your body than chemo and radiation are hell. It's harder than cancer itself. If I was diagnosed again, I would not go through that hell again. Cheno and radiation are hell - so much harder than cancer. I'll never do it again REST IN PEACE Toby Keith. ❤

This song tears me up! My brother battled cancer for three years, doing radiation, chemo and immunotherapy. He was 72 when they found the cancer. Through it all and losing so much weight he still played golf with his friends, he went deer hunting, fishing and enjoyed his two little granddaughters. Two months before he died he killed a huge deer. He was weak and so thin but he fought with all his might. It's been a year, in fact his memorial service was a year ago today. So this one hits hard because he tried not to let the old man in. Love you guys!!

Toby was ONLY 62 years old! I'm older than he was by a few years. I was absolutely heartbroken when I heard of his passing. I always listened to his music! For a long time now. Toby had fought a good fight! ❤️🤍💙 The very disease he'd fought himself...along the way he had opened a Cancer Facility where young children could go to get the help they needed! It was all done up in a Cowboy Western Style! He also visited often. Held the little children! Just that act alone will take Toby straight to The Celestial Kingdom! ❤️🤍💙 He'd fought to the bitter end with exactly what he was helping those little children with! Unbelievable!! May you RIP Toby & God bless his Beautiful Wife/Children/Grandchildren/Friends & all others! ❤ One thing I truly believe is God does not take you home until it's your time. Toby's time on the earth was finished. Just look at all he'd done! Those he'd helped more than we'll all ever know. ❤️🤍💙 ANOTHER Legend gone home! ❤️🤍💙 I will miss you Toby! 🇱🇷🇱🇷🇱🇷 Did you notice how he teared up while singing when he looked at his wife? He could see her crying too! 🥹 And saying his final goodbye to all those there that night!! WOW!

He wrote this song a few years before his diagnosis. Willie Nelson recorded it and another artist but never did much when Toby recorded it.....until now. Clint Eastwood was 88 when he produced and acted in the movie The Mule and he put this song at the end of the movie. Clint is now 93. I know Toby's death hit him hard. GOD bless both of them and their families. Prayers and comfort for Tobys family. ❤🙏

Toby asked Clint how he kept going and Clint said "Don't Let The Old Man In" and Toby wrote that song from what Clint said.

That man visited us while were deployed in the Middle East. He played a full set for us aboard the USS Enterprise. I will always cherish the photo I have with him on the flight deck with him.

Toby had a number 1 single back in 1994 that seems to be forgotten by all reactors. I am yet to see anyone react to it. And rarely reacted to is American Soldier.

I saw Toby in concert five times and he never disappointed. He left it all on the stage. It's very hard to watch this video. Thanks for all of the memories, Toby. RIP Cowboy.

This is my favorite of Toby's songs. Very reflective and introspective.

What a great song Toby left us with. It was a gift. The most powerful lyric is "Ask yourself how old would you be if you didn't know the day you were born" WOW. That's powerful. Rest in heaven Toby... Look forward to meeting you there some day. 🙏💖🕊️✝️

Damn. This song goes up on the top shelf of my faves with Johnny Cash's "Hurt". Reminds me that time is always ticking and there will be a last morning, a last hug, and a last breath. Death sucks.

Great reaction, I couldn't help but get choked up during this one. My first time hearing this song and seeing Toby Keith's performance prior to his passing. Thank you for doing this!
