At the risk of sounding like a total nerd this concept can also be applied to people who throw away their bodies in favour of knowledge and in the process become slobs or so skinny they can’t lift their arms above their shoulders. Like if you asked them to help you move to a new house they can know the most efficient way of doing things but will be tired after 20 mins of work. Likewise if someone who is all physical and no mental will be able to work for 4 hours lifting your couch but will probably ruin your walls in the process. A balance is needed both in league and in life. Body and soul, like Wide Shoulders Plato

I don't think the metaphor applies completely, in real life there are jobs that only require the physical aspect, likewise, there are jobs that only require the knowledge aspect, you can live with only one or the other and be perfectly fine

I'd say that some shortened content is quite great because these pieces of wisdom are also super welcomed and while they can be spotted in your long length videos, it requires more commitment to a video that can be less appealing to the audience and somewhat outdated (champion identity will remain, not the itemization or so) so some people can end up not approaching it based on that. Their loss of course, but just my two cents. As per usual, thanks for your work and approach to the game, from a former and future client! :)

Definately shorter content. Shorter content can be put into series instead of making 3 hours long videos (even the complex guides would be great if they were divided into shorter videos in form of series I think). That way its easier to process it overtime and its also easier to find 30 minutes during the day to watch your video rather than 3 hours. This is great, keep it up! Also I would appreciate more VODs of pros with your commentary - that is the most valuable coaching content on the internet.

I actually think the play was worth it. Let me break it down: Before Jayce goes it: 1 kill to red (+300 gp) Jayces goes in and dies, but Shaco also gets a kill (net gold 0) Liss trades for Senna 3:06 (net gold 0) While this was happening blue mid waves are crashing and will bounce back to jayce (+exp and gold after resets) Bot wave wasnt at tower and Cho catches it in time Jayce going in and extending the skirmish was actually about an even play considering the wave state mid.

@@CoachCurtis Excellent! I was planning on starting the MLA saying how Ive been hardstuck gold for like 8 years and my goal is to hit plat, but I literally just hit plat for the FIRST TIME EVER! LEGIT GOLD SINCE LIKE S5. I follow some but not all of the advice, but mostly I would say my mindset and relationship with the game improved the most. I was no longer grinding unhealthily all day, but rather sneaking in 1-2 games (I rarely had time or energy for full 3 blocks recently), and trying to review. In addition, I tried to rage less and take more responsibility. I never thought Id be saying this, but when I join, I guess my new goal will be to eventually climb from plat to diamond! I never thought I could! For reference: Its mostly in the past 30 days Ive been going hard. Ive been playing mostly Viktor and Fizz, only picking Fizz into good matchups (both lane and entire enemy comp). I used to be a fizz main but I can't blind it anymore. In the past 30 days I am 16W 4L on Fizz, and 26W 12 L on Viktor and feel super confident in these all plat lobbies!

At 8:55 would it be worth missing the wave and possibly some of the next wave just for a potential kill? You are not level 11 yet, so your damage overall is pretty low, so a kill is not guaranteed. Many time's I'm not sure whether or not to go for the roam or stay mid and keep my CS up as its a reliable source of gold with little risk.

It's a bit out of topic, but I'd like to point out that the Jayce, if he took a plate or two instead of roaming this late in early game, he would have avoided 2 of his 3 deaths while being much more ahead and still forcing Lissandra's hand. He really flipped it twice when there was an option that would have safely accelerated him in order to carry

The problem with the jayce at 9:50 was also his lack of knowledge of the game, he dealt dmg to the turet so even if he ran away to the river and the plate fell he would still get the gold. It works on the same principle as herald hitting turet and jungler getting gold despite him being two miles away from the turet.

But when he got killed for taking that plate it wasn't a mistake at all, in fact it was worth it. He crashed the wave + 175 gold from plate + 600 from lissandra because bounty, also lissandra ulted + forced rammus and yorick to loose their time (taking pressure so his botlane can play more freely for a minute. If shaco went bot instead of trying to help him there it would be a game changing scenario). So, yeah, he took 750 gold + a wave + their time + liss ult, and just gave 300 gold.
