Seeing a horse, especially a wild horse, being so broken & sad is absolutely heartbreaking. The people that can & do help these animals & give them such amazing lives are angels on earth ❤

Living in Wyoming, the wild horse herds are majestic. To think of them in a place to be slaughtered is abhorrent to me. A lot of the ones rounded up are bought by people to keep and hopefully tamed, I wish they all were. Thank you Clare for saving them- especially Ladybug and precious Firefly!

Well y'all know that the cattle ranchers keep saying that they are over grazing and demand for the round up BLM does it. And then the rancher puts a thousand beef cattle to over graze. That's what is horrible and happening.

That’s amazing that she had a mule. Donkeys are so corky, funny and loud. You get the best of both worlds. And tbh I didn’t know donkeys could mate with horses. So, I learned something new!

Mules are the result of a male donkey mating with a female horse. A Jenny is the result of a female donkey being mated with a male horse. Neither can mate and produce offspring due to chromosome issues. So Mules are ONLY produced through the mating of a horse and donkey.

Logistically I have no idea how they do it out in nature but I do know that donkeys & horses are close enough genetically to have offspring. Though pretty much all of the offspring are infertile there have been very rare occasions of a mule becoming pregnant when bred with a horse. 🌠The More You Know 😁😆

I'm glad you learned u learned alot from this video yes donkeys and horses can mate and the mare can get pregnant with a mule, but unfortunately mules are known to be infertile, horse's can also breed with zebras ,I believe that they call them a zorse but all the research I found on them I also think that the zorse is infertile too , I love horses and donkeys mules are cute but in the horse world alot of people don't think they are worth much and Alot of people will not even bother to train them because they are more stubborn than a horse and mules are often taken to the auction for the slaughter pipe line ,it breaks my heart how people can just dump a horse off at the auction no matter what condition it's in , there should be better laws to prevent it from happening,I Been to one auction in my life and I broke down alot of those horses and donkeys and mules were so sick and they had the worst kinds of infections and injuries that were left untreated for so long,I wish I could afford to buy all the ones in those poor kind of conditions ,I would buy them just to give them the last act of kindness, some of them could hardly stand and u could see how much pain it was for them to walk ,no animal should have to suffer like that,then they get bought just to go to the slaughter pipe line they travel in large numbers on horse trailers to Mexico to be slaughtered and alot of them drop before they even make it there ,they also catch sickness from other horse at the action and it kills donkey's fairly quickly,the vet said he throws everything at them that he can to save them because they don't have the same kind of ammune system like a horse has they fade away pretty fast without the kitchen sink thrown at them as he put it ,it took vets along time to know what meds to keep pushing on donkeys that came through the auction to save them it's really sad , I think police and the humane society should be able to go sit at every auction and if a animal is brought in sick or to thin or injuries they should be held accountable for animal cruelty and abuse they should get fined and jail time and never be allowed to own animals again,there has to be something that the law can do about this it's a horrible situation,I hope they banned big lick too it's not right,it's cruel and abusive there's many things that horses can do without causing them pain just for people own pleasure it's so sad they are putting beautiful horses down very young ages due to big lick it deforms Thier feet and causes them injuries that can't be fixed the best thing for them at that point is the last act of kindness instead of going to Mexico to be slaughtered, I will never understand people cruelty to animals , maybe the law's will get more strict with people like us demanding change, thank goodness for this rescue I would even hate to think about what could of happened to lady bug and the other horse's and to fire fly ,thank goodness there's people out here who care and doing what they can , there's non profit organizations that do free geldings and shots and deworming medicine and doing the last act of kindness to prevent them from suffering on the slaughter pipe line but people are still so selfish and they would rather make a few dollars by selling them animals in those horrible conditions thank goodness non of these horses were blind that is even so sad I can't imagine how scared they would be not knowing where they are not understanding what is happening to them ,the fear for them has to be so traumatizing for them ,I donate to help rescue animals from the auction but I wish I could do more to help them,I even protest against big lick , maybe soon our voices will be heard and we can make a difference those animals can't speak up for them selves thank goodness for rescue groups who are out there every month at auctions doing what they can to help ,I'm going to look on here and see if they have a place to donate to this rescue group I'm going to help them save more animals

I wish they would leave the wild horse alone..... But at least there is this beautiful place for them to land, and have almost all their freedom back, but with safety and full bellies as well.... For one If the burro land management did not step in wild horses would starve to death on these lands from too many being in these spots. Also no miles are sterile and can not reproduce the foal is part donkey part horse!

The baby is a mule. Since his mom is a horse that means the dad was a donkey. Mule is the hybrid of horse and donkey. (Mules are sterile so they can't reproduce, meaning all of them are hybrids)

It the burro isn’t always honest I feel and to be honest who wants to stay in these holding pens cause no one is adopting them is not the be set life but it’s better than starving to death I feel. Only if we could adopt them all like this!
