I can do my part by consciously not hurting things and helping what I can in my little sphere of influence. It is almost April and snowed maybe 4 inches yesterday here in the foothills of the majestic Sierra Nevada Mountains. On the side of my house there are hundreds of little paw prints. I am not sure what they are, maybe fox. I put out a little bit of food to help them until spring :)

​@@aircando: Not really. I value animals, but I still enjoy eating Hamburgers, Bacon, Rib Eye Steak and Chicken. Most ppl enjoy eating eggs, and the Chickens who produce those eggs have terrible lives and are stuck in small metal cages 24/7 that hurts their feet, and at the end of their egg producing lives they are slaughtered and grounded up into ingredients for dog and cat food, and I know this because I use to work at a Chicken farm in Turner, Maine. God created certain animals though for human consumption, but there are many animals humans are forbidden to eat, and the list can be found in Leviticus chapter 11.

Wow, we just loaded 6 mini horses, and they DID NOT jump right in, we had to pull, lift, encourage and finally they scruffled up and in. The visit to the yard was hilarious - the goose in the pool and the horse. This match is hilarious. Good job to the adoption family.

@@geoffmclay3962 I hear ya. However, since animals cannot speak, they do other things, to get their point across. We once adopted a Jack Russell (Bob). We also had a Skipper Key (Baby), that we had for about five years. The previous owners brought Bob. We decided to introduce them to each other outside, to keep stress down. They did the usual going around in circles, while they smelled each others butts. Baby didn't seem too receptive. Bob sensed it and proceeded to go through the yard, find the biggest pile of crap that he could, plop down and roll back and forth in it. We were all speechless! The previous owners told us it didn't matter if our home was a good choice or not. There was NO way they were going to allow Bob back in their car....lol. But, it worked. Baby was fine after that. Matter of fact Bob slowly became the Alpha Male.

You know it's a good place when the newcomers feel so comfortable right away and even let the stranger hold them.

Awesome, glad both Waffles and Hemingway have finally found a home where they can be loved and properly cared for…..God bless this woman who sees animals as special critters and part of her family, because in actuality, they are. One can’t say they love animals without showing the love and respect that they deserve and need, so HIGH 5 to her and her new little family joining the rest of her family critters she cares for.

you know we can all help animals in immeasurable ways by not eating them :) then we don't pay to have unwatchable cruelty be done to them. One person not eating animals and animal secretions helps save around 200 animals per year.

This woman is so kind and nice - those animals are so lucky to be on her farm.

After Hemingway the goose splashes water all over the woman who owns the farm, she says "thanks now I feel refreshed too!" What a great soul. How lucky Waffles and Hemingway are to live with a woman with such a great sense of humor. It means they'll all have a lot of fun. Wish I could join them!

It's so great that they were rescued from their unhealthy living conditions. Hemingway protects Waffles and vice-versa because their human was not worthy of them.They were so relaxed and happy at the rescue but their personalities really came out at their new forever home. They really hit the jackpot with their new Mom and Dad and they seem so happy. Kudos to all who rescue abused/neglected animals and to those who adopt them and give them the wonderful life they always deserved.

Love that you say animal parents. Cannot stand people who call themselves owners as it enables and perpetuates the mentality they are lesser than like objects to own and discard when its inconvenient. If more people understood the role we take is akin to parents as they have emotions, love and rely and trust us to feed, love them and keep them safe they’d think twice before adopting.

It is comforting to watch you guys taking good care of animals. It is so Godly.

When people say a match made in heaven this is the example. These two going with that lady and her family. You can tell it was totally natural. I love seeing that.

I can't stop smiling. Every time she gets excited at even the smallest milestones it makes my heart happy. They're going to be just fine! Very cool story.

Honestly I'm so glad she adopted them She's super funny, she's perfect for them, and they're prefect for her.

I really love that they are going to have Waffles as a therapy-horse, it's such a great idea, and it's also such an inspiration to see two entierly different animals be friends because the message is really important; it doesn't matter how someone looks like or how different you are, you can always be friends

These ppl that "work" to take care of these animals... they are like "heroes". Thanx!!

I love that life of rescuing animals bringing in the animals, rehabilitating them and making their life better and seeing them happy.. so rewarding. 😇

They're absolutely living their best life now and I love the lady who adopted them, heart of gold 💛

This lady really *sees* these animals, as in, watches them, and tries to understand how they might be feeling. If only we were all so sensitive and loving to animals. Many people only see animals in relation to themselves, which is why they control animals so much. All animals should be free and at peace.

This has become my favorite Dodo video. The adopter was entertaining, too. Loved the comment about the goose now protects Peabody and the farm has accepted the odd-couple, together, as well.

This woman has the most radiant and positive energy I have ever seen. It’s so refreshing.
