Hello good day and Happy weekend

I just sent my REF. I did not provide my birth certificate in my native language so I had to send it. I started my mothers case online however I had to send this via mail to the address they send you when they request the REF. I feel confident about it. All you need is to read carefully and follow their instructions. Wish me good luck bc I haven’t seen my mother for almos 10 years.

I and my fiancee were given an RFE for the two-year meeting even though we provided pleeenty of evidence. This is so infuriating I could sue them. We were above and beyond for proof. We provided everything. I'm seeing a lawyer next week to hear their thoughts as I don't want to mess something like this up. These are LIVES they are playing with and I don't even think they flipped through our papers!!! It's unbelievable!!!!!!!!!!!!!

@@andreaminaya7422 The RFE was approved! Now we are waiting for our papers to be sent to the embassy in Bogota, but they are working in a limited capacity... So basically nothing can progress now until the embassy opens

Hey. can i request uscis for more time(like 60more days) to answer the RFE in our case? They gave us 90days to answer the notice.

My uncle's fiance is Vietnamese and after she had her k1 visa interview on December 10, 2021, she did not pass. They asked for more evidence and gave her a paper with details to prove the relationship is bonafide and other information. The paper stated she can reschedule and bring further information in. Im confused is this a denial or just a request to ask for more proof.

I am an international student applying for my stem extension OPT request. I have been asked for W2 , bankstubs and offer letters. The last thing asked is Bank statements, my graduate advisor and the attorney has advised to not submit them as it only applicable if the I dont have the paystubs. Hello! I have a little doubt about REF: it is written "evidence must have been in existence as of the date the petition was filed". For instance, if one needs to provide a recommendation letter as evidence, what date should it bear: the date of when it was signed (after the RFE was received by the petitioner), or it should bear the date prior to filing the petition? Does that make any difference, or the "existence as of date of filing" refers to the contents of the evidence, and not the documental evidence itself? Thank you.

We are willing to take a DNA to Prove father son relationship Since my name is not in My sons birth Certificate Be;ived to be because we werent maried at the time of birth,if I Take a DNA test will it help and do i have to let USCIS before doing so and having only eight weeks will that be enough time for USCIS to receive the DNA results.

Hi everyone. Plz help me I pass my interview 18 December 2021. But officer want a evidence y I arrest in 2017 . I explain her everything and I also show her my expungement letter. But she want to know what's was the case. The case is shoplifting which is my lawyer said is very minor just value less than 200$ . I got an RFE asking for passport photos and my God. I checked my passport and they haven’t stamp my arrival on the country where I met my fiance. I have a stamp that said I left his country but I feel like I might get denied because of this. I only met him once before lockdown and before that meet up was another two years before I filed my petition. I am so scared and frustrated.

I have the same thing. But it should stay the stamp is for leaving the fiancé's home country which should be good enough. Send plenty of pictures of you two and also with family and friends. Airline tickets are also good, and also statements from friends about the relationship. Personal letters help too.

1st Call the airline and request for photo copy of your ticket and write and call the immigration department on the airport give them the date, and the copy of the ticket you traveled with and request they write you something to prove that you passed through them that day, but they didn't stamp your passport. Is in there system and computer, but while you're doing that reply to immigration and tell them the process that you are going through to get the information that they want. Request for more time to get back to them but you need a lawyer to reply for you.

Unfortunately got a RFE on my cr1 petition. I've been married now for 1 year to my husband from morocco. We met and got married In May 2021 in morocco, and lived in morocco a few months before having to return to usa(me) and saudi arabia(him for work reasons) we stayed in constant communication via video calls all year until we were both able to save up and meet again this year back in his country of morocco where we are now living again for a few months with his parents. In our RFE, they are asking for a legible scan of our marriage Contract, and bona fides of marriage in the form of joint bank accounts and statements, wills, power of attorneys, trusts, joint federal and state tax returns, and insurance policies with one another on the forms, any bill payments(we have not paid any bills for eahother this whole year and havent needed to due to us both working) joint loans or credit card statements ( neither of us have loans or credit cards only debit cards from our employers). He has never been to united States and is only taking vacation time off from is job in saudi arabia . Will uscis accept joint bank accounts from morocco since we are both here and can open jointly? Will uscis accept POA's and Wills made in morocco? Or does everything they ask for be made in the United States? It seems practically impossible to get some things done alone without my husband having to be present or have a SSN to get some documents that uscis is asking for in the united states. We have been living apart in separate countries due to our jobs. How do we prove joint tenancy when we have our own room at his parents house?Haven't been able to combine any finances. However, I was able to put on my state tax return that I was married filing separately since he is a Non resident alien. I'm desperately asking for any information regarding how to submit or go about getting the appropriate evidence they need to approve our petition. Thanks in advance.

I wonder how long they get back to you when they asked you for additional documents? Sent mine September this year and I haven’t heard from them ever since. Just wanna know what’s the time line for that kind of situation. I went for an interview and passed the test. The only thing that I’m waiting for is their response for the documents that I sent.
