Thank you for this video, well explained.......our immigration process is so screwed up. A year to get my now son-in-law here on a K-1from the UK with a mountain of paper work and evidence and now another process with I-485-and all other forms. He has been here since early January. Ready, willing and able to work and contribute to our country. He can't. Still no work card, still no SS Number. Can't open a bank acct with his wife, can't apply for a driver's license. He is going through all his money that he came here with so not to be a burden on anyone. Sad and ridiculous at the same time. It is discriminating in a sense that there is no standardization as to how immigrants are received. It depends which country you come from, ethnicity etc. The redundancy of the I485 reapplication from the I-129F is ridiculous. Example: I-129, embassy interview etc get s approved, visa is issued. I-485 asks for just about the same things. Then, you get RFE from this re-application with no clear cut explanation as to what they want or is missing. You get a very vague list of items that seems they indicate that it "could be" one or some of the items listed. I can't believe people crossing the border from the south have to go through this mountain of redundant paper work, proof, evidence, affidavits of supports etc. This process is so overly weighted and is not consistent and equally fair to all the enter, regardless where they come from.

Well said!… and I absolutely agree immigration process isn’t fair..

Family member here on K-1, got married immediately. Immigrated from UK. 7 months to get work card and SS Number. Blew through most of his money that he came here with because he was not allowed to work and contribute to the US. Now approaching month 9 and still no green card. Cross from the southern border seeking asylum and get everything including all the bells and whistles. Just great.

The title is kinda misleading... One will be expecting you to give ideas of what USCIS actually does after they receive your reply... Like how they process it? What they do with the info provided, the typical turn around time to expect a movement on a case after the response and what to expect if they offer no response after an overwhelming time has passed.

Exactly, they received evidence after sending me revoke letter’ and when I check status that’s says “we have received your evidence we will reply you within 6 month” I don’t understand how this process goes I thought this video is all about after received evidence how they works and how they issue visa’

What if I received my RFE 2 weeks before the deadline and my I-693 is taking longer to be processed by the doctor due to blood work results not ready? Will they deny my case if the I-693 is a few days late?

I have sent my gc application after granting Asylum without Medical exam , They sent RFI requesting the medical exam, they received that 60 days back and still waiting, Is that ok ?

I am an international student applying for my stem extension OPT request. I have been asked for W2 , bankstubs and offer letters. The last thing asked is Bank statements, my graduate advisor and the attorney has advised to not submit them as it only applicable if the I dont have the paystubs. I have every thing for every month while I was on my initial OPT. Can you please advise if I should be submitting the bank statements ?

What if you do not respond to the NOID. How long does it take to deny?

How long does uscis normally takes to update the case after receiving the RFE response?

In our application, the online status was updated the day after a RFIE response was delivered to the NBC. What's normal? I don't know.

Yeah usually if you submit the application online it takes a day or two.

Within 2-3 weeks of receiving it just turns back into a processing status. Waited and additional 3 months to get just the EAD work permit and ss card. Total 5 month wait. Been waiting for green card now 7 months, still no green card.

how much do you guys charge RFE on my k-1 visa i summit all the evidence they asking the same to send it also i was separated with my ex husband and he did not want to sign the papers of divorce i started my current relationship as he lad left home 1yrs ago legally i was still married but separated when i got engage to my fiancé now ?

Jim I'm suffering science last year March the same problem you just mentioned, I'm just waiting for my request for evidence Renault from uscis notice. My case is going to be next months 3 year's. I file i130 (spouse) as a green card holder .

I been lookin for info online but can’t find it. When u send an application(daca) and they send u receipts why sometimes there’s no alien number. Some have it and some doesn’t👍

So after getting NOID if you end up filling i601 wavier for those issues and got approved and everything, now when you go for citizenship what happens would it be any problem? Can or do they ask all about that again ?

Are RFE and second interview are considered the same? on my first interview the officer said that she will send me RFE instead I was scheduled for a second interview!!
