Thanks for the video. I have to do shocks struts, brakes and wheel bearings all the way around on my wife's van this weekend.

Good video, i appreciate you confirming that this process works well in a smaller garage. Good tip on that tie rod puller too.

If needed, you can use a faucet handle pulling tool to remove the wiper arm nuts. Fits perfectly 👍

Thanks!! Great straight forward video. Doing this and the rear shocks on the company van today. Never had to remove wiper blades to change struts before, so thanks so much for the tie rod puller tip, there's no room to get a 2 jaw puller under there. I think it'll take more than 15 mins. darn it. PS-I kept the nut loose on the knuckle bolt and put the socket over it to hammer on the socket not risk damaging the bolt thread, they were very stuck. I also had to put a small jack under the wishbone and raise it to keep tension off the swaybar link stud.

For those that have issues with the wipers, I'll just mention that it is possible to do the job without removing the wiper arms or the front cowling, you can just open it up at the front and use something to wedge it open. I think torque specs are: Strut Body/Tower Mounting Nuts = 21lb/ft Strut Clevis to Knuckle Nuts = 65lb/ft + 90 degree turn Strut Rod Nut = 48lb/ft

Strut to knuckle nuts doesn’t really make sense though. If you torque to 65 ft Lbs and then add a 90 deg turn, then it’s not 65 ft Lbs Any more.

Lol, proper torque. You must be VERY new to working on cars... Rattle rattle rattle is the proper torque for everything not related to head or valve train

Good video but you didn’t properly torque any bolts to spec which will later cause an issue….. if I were you I’ll invest into a Torque Wrench and go over each bolt

I honestly watched this video to see how to get the windshield wiper arms off because my wife s was stuck… after that i continued to watch this video to determine if i would want to watch any future videos you may have about this specific vehicle…… but like i said before it was a good video Idk how experience are you in working on cars but every well experience mechanic should know to Torque shit any professional will tell you 😀 I use to work on cars a lot did everything from Suspension to Engine work the only the that i haven’t did was actually pull out a engine…. I found a better career so i only work on me and my wife vehicle when needed and some family members when i have a chance…. When I was early into doing mechanic work i never knew nothing about Torquing shit until some professionals gave me some knowledge…. I’m not coming at you reckless bro I just gave you something to do or think about when working on cars improper torque meaning over tight or under tight from the proper torque spec can lead to Premature Wear 😀 But hey man do you im out 🤙🏽🤟🏽

You don't know anything " every mechanic will tell you torque everything properly" I call. BS. I say you haven't spent a day in a shop in your life. NO PROFESSIONAL MECHANIC torques anything to spec where torque isn't critical. 90% of the nuts and bolts on your car don't need to be torqued. Go hide behind your keyboard and leave the wrenching to the professionals that know torque by the pitch of the rattling of the impact wrench. Wannabe...
