In FL, tourists can just rent a boat for a day. They don't care if you have no experience. Many are told NOT to go out on the ocean or gulf, but they don't listen

The most competent and comfortable transits of Haulover are consistently made by the older grey-haired man in the Boston Whaler with the black top. Always smooth, no matter the conditions! And, where are the Blue Top girls?

Lol can you imagine renting any boat (let alone that one) and taking it out there? That MTI /44 got rocked btw.. wow

The drone going in close is actually a bit obnoxious. People want to enjoy the water without being filmed by a drone don’t really have any issue with that stance.

I really enjoy watching the performance boats duke it out with Haulover ! At least the first boat had their bumpers out just to be safe 🤦🏻‍♂️. Here in the mountains of Idaho the Hardwater season coming up fast !😂

The trick to dominating at Haulover is to always have your sacrificial Granny riding up front. If things get bad...the god of Haulover will accept your granny in trade for safe passage. Works every time...

Stayin ahead of the game 😎 I find myself mumbling ~ get out of the bow ~ what is wrong with you ~ turn that damn bilge pump on ~ these people do not know how to navigate a wave ~ she prob should not be wearing a bikini…

d-head holding onto the bimini for support was the first sign of dummies aboard…cruising with fenders out was #2 I can agree with the passenger unhappy with an invasive drone. sure, it’s legal but that doesn’t mean it’s cool…you didn’t have to upload the footage. save those shots for people that welcome it, or be a d-head yourself.

Yeah nothing like a fractured vertebrae to enhance your boat ride

My advice to the skipper of the first vessel is get more experience before tackling a difficult stretch of water like that. Make sure everyone on board is wearing a lifejacket when going through the inlet. Don’t let people sit up in the bow in those conditions, get the bow up and be very decisive getting on and off the throttle as you go through that messy sea.

About 5:30 I'm thinking..."maybe a game of Jenga around the table?"...with double-sided carpet tape.

Based on the videos, it seems like every other boat gets tossed around in this location lol

Slightly more exciting than watching paint dry.

Know your boat before you put it in conditions it can’t handle. A lake boat belongs on a lake. Just common sense but not much of that around today. I was raised in NJ around boats, and have seen the worst handling of boats in FL. Sorry FL but why do people who retire or move to FL feel “ oh boy gotta buy a boat” some should just stay out of one, just don’t qualify or responsible enough to drive one let alone take some crowd with them and little kids with no life preservers on and parents or grandparents right there doing nothing. And in the bow, no less.

Unless you have raised self draining decks, never purchase a bow rider, or open bow vessel, if you do and the only way that water is coming out is via electric or manual bilge pumps in heavy seas they act like a water scoop. And the more water you ingress the lower the vessel will get making a much smaller wave can completely flood the vessel.

Number of engines has nothing to do with it. However, some of these SD guys need 4 of them...

Now I know how single Crocks end up on secluded islands.

Some boats show stay in the intercostal. That thing’s barely bigger than a dinghy.

Don't hang onto the canopy frame. You'd be amazed how much they charge if you break or bend it.

Yeah I'm thinking if you only have one engine on the back, probably bad idea today.
