I just want to suggest one thing before you do anything permanent. Your garage looks pretty cold, since Dylan was initially wearing a puffer coat (I think that’s what they’re called?) and you’re both wearing layers as you get warmer from activity. We live in Ontario, in a snow belt, so a similar, if not colder, climate. Last summer we insulated our garage and we’re amazed at the difference it makes!! Some of our rescue cats have chosen this as their home. After an hour or two of even low heat, it’s surprising how much the heat goes up. If you want to use this year round, I’d suggest you insulate. We only used about R14 of the white batts, but my husband now works on his antique truck out there year round. And he no longer brings things into my den to paint… Yay!! PS I don’t think I’ve ever really heard Dylan say much before. He has a great voice!! He could have a career in radio, or narrating documentaries or anything like that!! I love that the two of you work together, I’m just saying - he could even start another KZread channel on the side, where he’s a storyteller… there are quite a few examples I can think of, some of whom don’t sound anywhere near as good as him! Sorry - I’m getting carried away. This was meant as a compliment, not anything creepy!!

That attic thing definitely looks a bit sketchy. You might want to look into whether it’s permitted or not
I can’t contain my excitement to see the finished product
Stages of life by how you spend your money...clubs, restaurants and malls change to Home Depot, grocery and furniture stores.
Your content is SOOO good lately! I’ve watched you since you started on TikTok and you’ve progressively gotten better and more comfortable in front of the camera. All of this new home content is very interesting, especially since it’s such a ‘quirky’ home. I can’t wait to watch you guys make this house your own! 🛠🪛🪚🎨
If you plant on doing any gardening, plants, etc. try and fit in a small counter for that. One where you can store spades, pots, potting soil, and anything else you need. We found it is so much easier to fill containers or pots standing at a counter than it is kneeling in the garden. Maybe outside near a hose?
LOVE the aesthetic sweeping lol!
Shoutout to Dylan for holding down the fort so you could get some editing done!
Ooooh step 1, even watching you guys clean is exciting 😂 I'm curious : how do you plan an entire house reno ? Do you have a giant spreadsheet or calendar or do you kinda wing it and do what you want/can whenever ?
Everything you create is beautiful
Dang great work and it's looking good. Please for the love of God get that man's some safety glasses. Also Croc gang
Hello, love watching your videos and am so impressed. One thing to note since you have an older home, and previous rodent tenants, is please wear a mask and gloves when dealing with rodent droppings to prevent a hantavirus infection. I couldn’t tell if you guys were, but we subscribers want you to stay safe!

I just scrolled down the comments after they started disasembling the cabinets without any masks to see if anyone had told them!!! This is so important, especially since the did find a rodent nest under there!
Another great video! Can’t wait to see more. I wish I could fast forward a few months and keep watching!
I am looking forward to your process! This will be fun to watch.
Love it you guys!! So excited to see yalls house transformation! 😊
Looking forward to seeing the outcome!
You are so inspiring!! I love your designs but for this one I was hesitant with the cabinets, I am so excited for the final outcome! 💕
Can’t wait to see how it turns out
What a great project ! Keep going you guys !! This is awesome 👏😃
So excited!
CONGRATULATIONS ON THE HOUSE !!🏠 ✨
Amazing job I love 💕 your videos thanks for sharing
So excited to see your progress on your house! Congratz btw! Would love to see more Dylan in your videos, you guys make a great team
I've loved watching all of your content! I was just curious, when you bought the house were you aware of the structural renos you were going to have to do to the house?
Challenge. Can you help a design on what to stored the glasses on. Saw some cool nose things on Etsy but expensive.
The cabinet doors would be awesome for projects or a paneled wall.
Emily, I said this in the walkthrough video, but I don't know if you are following Becki&Chris they make videos about cameras and fly a helicopter, but a couple of years back they bought a house and have been doing it up and videoing every step of the process. Becki's design astatic is mostly Black/Grey/White with an obsession for the grading of colours and a need for reaaaaaaaallly expensive paint, but their ideas and designs could be really inspirational for you and their basement is so cool and should help (also Becki's Pinterest should help you find 1,000's of pictures! Hope this helps ps do you still do the room redesigns for difficult spaces, cos I may have a challenge for you!! Cheers Nic pps Yay Dylan speaks!!
That little gap in the floor from the wall to the slab maybe be an area for water to collect and evaporate, but with the age of the house I'm not sure. Perhaps you know someone who could confirm that, but great eye on the moisture!
Adhd: Ah that's a nice space,ooh red storage stuf..GHOST
I’m trying to find a video on the new cabinets. Where you purchased them, etc

Me too, did anyone have any luck on finding out where they can be purchased from? Thank you!
When you say "get someone in here to address the ceiling structure" can you please specify what professional would do that? I have the same issue that I need checked. Not sure who to look for.
Maybe throw in that you found dead body’s in those trash bins you found for giggles😂
not you sweeping in CROCS
Why is there no picture of the outside? It's extremely weird to say you bought a house, give an inside tour, but never show what it looks like from the outside.
