The cube is so cool!! And personally, I like the grey fabric! You can add colour with accessories and that way if you decide to change colour schemes, it’s easy enough to do, without reupholstering that whole bench seat.

No word of a lie - I actually dreamt about your cube a couple of nights ago! It was so bizarre!!…
Omg Emily this idea is so amazing! I love that you mention your mental health status because it’s really important to see how difficult a renovation process can be and how to find the fun in it! It amazes me how you can see a piece of furniture and create a space this complex with it. It’s really expanding my creativity and I’m learning so much about the best ways to do stuff from you! Keep it up 🥰 ps I love that Dillon is doing more videos too, power couple!

Thank you so much!!
That shop is epic! Love your find, it's going to be an awesome built in. Those beams are going to look so nice after the dark stain is removed. Nice progress.
Wow, this looks like so much work!! You’re doing great. We bought a house during the pandemic and did some minor remodels as we moved. It was still the most stressful thing we’d ever done. In a large part because EVERYTHING was a mess at once. I felt like every day was a meltdown day. My biggest advice to anyone is to see if you can get one room done. That way you can retreat there-no mess, and a realization of your vision to keep you going through the rest of the chaos. For us it was the sunroom-the smallest room of the house, and the most manageable. It made an enormous difference for us. So excited to follow along this adventure with you!
I love that purple seat! Excited to see the new color
I can see you and your guy being the next Joanna and Chip! Great work!
I would LOVE longer videos!!!!
I love all the graphics in your videos they’re so satisfying
Hi ! Little advice for the plywood doors you plan on building: make them in mdf + veneer the front and back (with cookies for the sides if you want the ply showing). We just had 50 of our plywood doors warped on one of my projet.
So cool of you to share your fave thrift store & not gate keep even something as precious as that to you!! 💓
YOU GUYS! my 10 years junior mom & pop! love your transparency and how soft spoken you both are.... i could listen to you both talk all day.
Hi! Just FYI I believe it's against code to hide an electrical panel, so keep that in mind if you're going to have an inspector coming through to look at the permitted work 👀
That thrifted piece is beyond epic!
As a person who loves that purple (at least the way it’s showing up on my screen) it’s taking a lot for me to trust the process, not going to lie, lol.
Omg that is gonna look so cool! What a great find - WELL DONE! 🙌💗
Btw that tealish looking lantern looking maybe candle holder looking thing was cool! in the shop lol💁 bike riding person is too...(steampunk style like)
So cool!!!!
So enjoy watching your content. The transformations are neat. Whether funky fun, beautiful, elegant or just a new twist on something practical in daily use. 😂Just very cool.
Learning a lot watching these videos. Had no idea sprung floors existed !!
I'm glad I turned notifications on like 5 minutes ago :D
I wish your videos were longer, I just love the way you film and edit your videos. I wouldn’t mind a few minds of you sanding 😆
Loved this update! That wall with the built in cabinets and couch/guest bed is going to be so great. Does the lattice on the wall go to the outside at this point? It sort of looked like it in the video, so I was wondering if you’d need to close in that part. Can’t wait to see more! 💕
Yay I’ve been wondering what you were gonna do with it
The reason it looks like that is because they enclosed a porch - 2 stories of it!
When using paint remover, it's important to cover it with plastic wrap! That way it won't dry out and it will remove the paint so much better!
I would spend all day/week/month in that thrift store!
Could you put some type of floor sealant or resin over the brick so you could have smooth clean floors and the unique brick look? I love the brick
Wow the built in sofa is fantastic. Are you getting rid of the garden trellis?
What year was the house built it’s amazing ❤
It’s almost impossible to find contractors these days! It took us months to find someone to remodel our bathroom.
You guys should look into a sandblaster to get off varnish on beams & wood

& when your doing paint stripper put cling wrap over it so it stays wet & it’s easy to remove when you scrape
💖
I would love to know the grey fabric you purchased for your fabulous couch/seating area. I am looking for fabrics in grey shades that are durable for people and pets. If you remember please let me know if you have time. I am recovering storage benches and building a window seat. Beautiful home and I love the piece of furniture, that is so unique.
Wayfair for the glass sliding doors!
4:28 Do you guys still use that Tiffany light? I am in the market for one and they are all not the one I want, but this one is. Also, I love the nook. You are an amazing designer.
Use Randy K. Great contractor!
I’m early 😁
Why not just try an orbital palm sander?

The previous owner was horrible at space planning and those hanging lamps are ugly.
