Totally agree I have 2 purple colors on and not even cut I bleached it turned out the bottom of my hair is her color and the top is a lighter purple like pink n purple 2gether...

girl this is exactly what i’ve been looking for. i have two small sections of my hair (the parts near both my ears) that i diy bleached blonde and i LOVED. IT. recently, i decided to dye those parts purple and it looked great until now and it’s starting to fade and look lighter and i overall don’t like it as much as i liked the blonde. it doesn’t look bad, i just loved the blonde so much that i want it back. i also have an event on friday (4 days from now) that i want to have the blonde for. i will try this out and reply to this comment abt if it worked or not bc i need a savior rn 💗💗

Mine turned green also. This is because of everything hiding beneath the purple. This does work depending on the color and vibrancy you have of that color.

When trying to remove blue, I highly recommend going purple over it! Go purple over blue then try this method

Just wash it w hot/ water well whatever u can take in hot when u shower it washes off as u shower

This made my hair a light green😂 It was the same colour as yours haha I’m not mad I ended up putting a green dye overtop and I love it 💖

I noticed this method worked better for me when my hair was damp the second try. I used 7% developer and left it on for 25 minutes. Twice. 😬😣 it only faded the dye I had used. (Arctic Fox Purple Rain)

I did underlights and used a dark violet colorant mixed with crap load of conditioner and it looked so pretty!🥺 Definitely what my short wolfcut needed so I decided to bleach more strands and do the same but I failed and ended up with an uneven color. I'm trying this to remove it all, bleach the darker ones and start all over again!

@@elkevankessel681 use artistic fox purple, idk if that’s the tone your looking for but that shit doesn’t come out. So if I would recommend a brand it would be that one

The purpose of the purple shampoo is to remove the brazziness (yellow/ orange hair tone )of your hair when you're blonde( works like a toner). It won't make your hair more purple:)

It is depositing purple dye to your hair that's why it "removes" brassy tones, really they're just canceling each other out. That's why sometimes you see people accidentally stain their hair purple with it. They usually have really damaged hair that just soaks up way too much of the pigment.

Does anyone know if this would be okay for me to try with a mix of nature brown hair and lilac hair? I really want for get the lilac out but I’m afraid it might mess up my natural hair color which I can’t really separate from the lilac if I do this method. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I colored my hair with pink and purple using cellowax. I want to achieve the 3/4 pink and 1/4 purple (ends) in my long hair but it turns out half half in my long hair. Now i want to rid the purple color in my hair but it might take a lot of washes to be fade.

This was the best I ended up using 20 developer because it was what I had and it worked amazing for my fusia hair I’m glad to be blond again.

I just used this method with purple shampoo instead of head and shoulders on my purple dyed hair and now my whole head is green so

I needed to find this finally!! Hope it works for me

I got rid of my demi hair die with dish soap and head and shoulders shampoo only. You just need to open the hair by changing the ph and that's enough to get the color out of the hair. Just make sure when your going to wash put a little water until all your hair is bubbly and rub your hair in sections to get the color out of the hair. Depending on the concertation of the demi color maybe need to repeat. Your hair does sure get dry so I would condition it after that treatment.

@@alex.c6307 Use a dish soap and head and shoulders shampoo they have high ph. ITs safer to use a low % developer with it to clean the center of the follicle too! Because if you clean only with dish soap and head and shoulder shampoo you will just clean outside of the follicle. Not the inside. I did it as a mistake when I went to a salon to tone my hair and my hair appeared purple. I taught I washed the purple color off but she explained I had to use the developer to clean the center of the follicle too! So she cleaned it for me with a low ph developer before she could put the tone color I wanted to have a clean base.

My hair is the same purple and I want to go magenta so will try this

It works a little bit with box dye just not all the way I use to use this method if I just wanted to lighten it

Effective po siya. Wag lang madami baking soda, naglagas unti buhok ko, unti lang naman, napasobra kasi baking soda na nailagay ko.

If semi permanent lang yung black dye na nalagay mo, mag wowork siya. But if permanent hair dye, hindi po.

Bremod hair dyes are usually permanent hair dyes :< this method only works for semi permanent hair dye lang po, yung ammonia free na hair dyes

is it okay to do this method everytime you want to change/remove your semi permanent hair color or is there any limitation so it wont cause damage?

Noo just try to bleach bath. Don't mix baking soda with oxidizer. It's better believe me.

I tried this to remove purple semi permanent dye and my roots turned orange and my ends were green/blue as well as so stringy and damaged after one go :(

It only works for semi permanent dye. I did my second try with my hair damp bc I was getting impatient hahah but I think you have to do it with dry hair. but It still works w wet hair..

I used this method on dark brown permanent color that was on top of bleached hair, and it worked a lot. Got my hair back to a caramel blonde.

Omg me too. I did it yesterday. I had pink and purple in my hair. It was fading and I wanted to remove it to re-dye it. Now I have some silver pieces, white, rose gold, blueish green and purple. Also, not to mention my hair is coming out every time i go through it. And I just got a haircut 2 weeks ago 🥲

@@rabyahassni4868 i soaked my hair in coconut oil mixed with jojoba oil and castor oil at night and rinse it in the morning. It help a bit. And i used argan oil & keratin infused shampoo and conditioner. Leave the conditioner longer than 5 mins and dont brush your hair. Use a wide tooth comb. I hope it helps. I have a short bob hair rn and im considering cutting it shorter.

I suggest waiting 3 days bfore doing it again with unwashed hair. Let the oils secrete sa scalp mo to prevent your hair na mag dry

Ganern talaga ang cellowax. I suggest trying other brands like technicolor kasi nothing ang color bleeding compared to cellowax.

Baking soda/Developer combo is very harsh on the hair. Make sure to pamper your hair with deep conditioners and hair masks before and after doing this otherwise your hair will break A LOT.

I'd have washed it for a week in hot water with clarifying shampoo and conditioner that's what I'm.doing to fade yellow and pink lol then got my iron hair color remover that's vegan but I'll be mixing with 20 developer lol for extra boost for the first time got Two more just incase if I do need to do it again I'll do just water I have special conditioners leave and a whole bonding line shampoo and conditioner and deep conditioner treatment
