I’m a stylist and yes I recommend it but add Olaplex 1 oil or use Olaplex 3 or K18 to bond it and deep condition it afterward. Good job girl.

Literally shocked. I did this after dying my hair purple and pink over each other MULTIPLE times and it all came out and was even LIGHTER than when I originally was blonde. Shook. And not damaging at all.

@@aryaaboo late answer, and you’ve probably done it already. But personally i replaced the dishsoap for shampoo and used bleach london silver shampoo and it worked fine, I also tried it with tresemmé flawless curls and they both worked the same, so I think any shampoo works. It took my hair from pink back to yellow blonde, but heads up, didn’t work on the green part of my hair.

Okay so I impulsively dyed my hair purple and immediately hated it and tried this but with equal parts dandruff shampoo and baking soda and left it on for 15-20 minutes and it got rid of almost all of the color. I was a little hesitant to use developer or dish soap because my hair is pretty damaged but the baking soda and dandruff shampoo did wonders for me hair. I recommend to use a leave in hair mask or deep conditioning treatment after! :-)

I have to say, I feel you so hard on wanting it gone my hair is bright ass pink, but the way your purple fades into the color of your hair in this video is so nice! I’m sure it was all crazy before some washes but this looks so appealing!! The tones look really nice girl!!!

This saved me. I've been going lighter blonde for a year (naturally almost black hair) I used arctic fox super diluted and it turned my hair barney purple thinking it would just tone it. This works!!! Thanks for the advice it made my hair a toned silvery blonde! I'm happy I didn't have to go back to the salon. My stylist would've been salty lol

PLEASE try anti dandruff shampoo before doing this !!! (Head & shoulders shampoo will work) You will thank me later. Dawn dish soap acts like a DEEP clarifying shampoo and will leave your hair feeling DRY DRY DRY. Head & shoulders helps remove color while still feeling healthy.

I only used head and shoulder and dish wash soap and that worked. I rubbed my hair in sections in the shower to make the color get out of the hair. No baking soda og developer bull crap.

Angela Schepperle I did this twice and it faded to a light peachy red colour, then I mixed Igora Absolutes ‘dove grey’ and silver toners (with developer 10v) and now its back how it was before the red! I had washed out a lot of the red before doing this though, it was red on my natural blonde and part red, part light blonde on the ends ☺️

It worked soo good! Made my hair a little thirsty but its fixable.

Using equal parts white vinegar, dawn, and shampoo with same time and using the bag for heat, then rinsing out and using conditioner made my hair really soft.

It works I recommend it, helps to rub it in the hear and strip off the old stuff off your hair and add new stuff from your bowl repeatedly until it’s out c:

When I died my hair teal I couldn’t get that shit out either. Nothing worked. I ended up having to go to a salon and getting it dyed a dark red/burgundy to get rid of it then started going blonde :( was one expensive impulse

it worked! i have stubborn purple spots that didnt wanna come out, this took it out in 5 minutes...my hair was already super damaged, I used a bunch or conditioner after, waited a few minutes to was it out and then added a leave in conditioner it didnt feel as dry as it did with anything else i used

I just tried this one my hair and it worked beautifully!! I did not add purple shampoo though. Oh and it will heat up a lot so I just left it on for 10 minutes. DO NOT USE ANY OTHER VOLUME OF DEVELOPER!! STICK TO 10 VOLUME!!!

@@coralroberts7795 I think it removes color over whatever color you have underneath and takes you back to that. Its not a method in becoming blonde.

I dyed my hair dark brown over the course of like a year and loved it, but now I impulsively want to bleach it blonde. My hair is naturally like a dirty blonde but I just wanted to see what the blonde looks like.

@@daniquevanderleij30 Dont!!...If you have blonde hair, and you make it brown..you will most likely end up with a greenish silver version. not a rich beautiful brown. They do recommend doing a reddish base then the brown...Im on here cuz I did the brown and also hate it!

Blue is the hardest of all colors to get rid of, its also the base of green so green is also notoriously hard to remove because of this. This method will work on those colors but it takes several treatments to fully remove. Unlike reds and yellows which strip super easily and can be gone in just one treatment.

Instead of purple shampoo add green shampoo to your formula because green is opposite red in the colour wheel so it will neutralise the red tones in your hair

I just dyed my professionally bleach blonde hair, with manic panic vampire red. Ive had it in for 3 weeks and have been purposely trying to fade it, as I didnt fall in love with it. I did this when I had pink and it fried my hair to the point where I accidentally gave myself a chemical cut, but your hair is probably much healthier than mine considering I bleached my hair 3 times trying to get rid of the black I had in my hair lol. I'm glad it worked for you though!

Thank goodness I did a strain test. This did Not work on my hair. It just made it dry and damaged. Just do bleach and mix it with conditioner and leave it on max 10mins to remove the purple shampoo stains.

Purple shampoo, equal parts 10 volume developer and baking soda and dish soap

You can dilute developer with water, equal parts of developer and water will bring it down to the next level (ex. 40-30 30-20 20-10)

Definitely trying it, I dyed it blue/teal. Unfortunately the hairstylist dyed it a little to high from where I wanted it originally. I love it, but now I want to change it to copper. I’m just use to dying ombré brownish, ashy brown. So it was a big change. So I hope this may help me to wash it off faster.

I think I did a method close to this when I tried getting blue out of my hair, it worked a little but my hair was so dry. I did half purple a couple weeks ago and it’s fading and I’m so over it! I don’t have developer though :(

FYI if anyone used splat blue envy and it made their hair purple when they wanted dark blue this will lift it to the navy dark blue THANK GOD THIS IS SAVING ME RN

I've had my hair dyed blue/teal since January and now am trying to strip the color so I can switch it. FYI, this didn't work for me with this color, but obviously could be diff for other people. Used 20 volume as she did, left it on for 20 mins, washed it out, no change.

FYI blue is the most stubborn color of all to try and remove. I tried everything and the end result to finally getting it out was to bleach it twice. I will never again go blue! Lol... buuuuuut I recently just went all purple. Loved it at first. And although it looks good ... I really reeeeally miss being blonde. I just don't want to go thru what I did before with the blue. So hoping this works for me. Wish🍀me🍀luck!

@@flexstoryhoodies that will be hard too.... but I'd say try to strip it with product from the store. Condition it a few days with masks, strip it again, then bleach. It'll take a few bleaching sessions... maybe twice. But be sure to give a week break in between. Condition condition condition!

I did this to see if it would get dark brown dye out of my hair (It lightened it to a dirty blonde) but at the cost of chemical burns. It lightened my roots multiple levels. This is basically creating hair bleach.

Split dyed my hair red , than went straight to purple , roots are growing back now , and now all I want is my blonde hair back 💀
