It's indeed very sad to know there are fellow people who reject the stone which will end them... They are without excuse when they arrive in the presence of God and i'm really sad about it... We could never sanctivy our wicked works as well but we are saved by the love of God!

It's true: ancient Chinese out of geomancy or fengshui reason built the great palace of Chang'an (then capital now Xi'an) at the lowest spot of the city 1500 years ago. But the palace of David is definitely on the highest spot cause we have documents and archaeological finds to support it.

A threshing floor would be flat. The Bible states "in" mount Moriah. Jesus probably stood on the rock of Mount Moriah as he provided himself a lamb to be sacrificed for the sin of the world. I understand where your coming from. I studied the topic for many years. The place of the temple is seen in a deep study of the gospel of John.... the story of the blind man.

@Eilene the Sojourner Why do you say that? Why couldn't Mount Moriah be just north of the City of David? In fact, the floor under the Dome of the Rock is rough and uneven and would not be suitable for a threshing floor. We were wrong about the location of the City of David and the location of King David's Palace. What makes you certain about the location of Mount Moriah. Lastly, I don't appreciate your question about my faith. Why are you so aggressive towards a simple question?

Ilan himself doubts that Mazar has found King David's palace. "My gut tells me this is an eighth- or ninth-century building," he says, constructed a hundred years or more after Solomon died in 930B.C. More broadly, critics question Mazar's motives. They note that her excavation work was underwritten by two organizations-the City of David Foundation and the Shalem Center-dedicated to the assertion of Israel's territorial rights. And they scoff at Mazar's allegiance to the antiquated methods of her archaeological forebears, such as her grandfather, who unapologetically worked with a trowel in one hand and the Bible in the other. Btw as a Freemason I can say that the idea that the King Of Tyre, King Hiram, sent 3 architects to help build Solomons temple is a core belief. Furthermore, the Masonic story implicates the Tribe of Dan who somehow become Seaferrying people just like the Phoenicians. Later the Sea peoples coalition is formed of which one group is call Shardana and the Sea peoples use Sardinia as their home base for their sea piracy operations. Sardinia - Shardana - czar-Dan-ia- land of king Dan. What's further interesting is that on Sardinia, a large amount of megalithic construction can be found with legends that speak of giants. It is my theory that somehow, the Danites acquired the skills of masonry from the giants and are responsible for the stories of Freemasonry.

No offense to anyone, but you're honestly jumping to conclusions without evidence. What if the Phoenicians simply lived there and thus built all these things for themselves. More Egyptian and Phoenician artifacts have been found in Jerusalem than Jewish ones which should lead us to question the identity and timeline of the stories in the bible. I know how vital king David and Israel are to Christianity but these aren't myths you read in the bible, these are historical facts based on people groups that still exist today in the middle east. Every major civilization in the middle east has records of each other (Egypt, Phoenicia, Mesopotamia, Syria, Persia etc.) except Israel. I am not denouncing the history of Israel or the bible, I am just saying we owe it ourselves to find better evidence than this.

@@awesome98rock You can look up the relics from other civilizations that mention Israel in some capacity. There's a relief of King Jehu bringing tribute to the Assyrians, a recorded boast by King Sennacherib over King Hezekiah, as well as references to King Ahab in ancient secular records. None of these things would exist if Israel didn't. Granted, these examples I've listed are from after the dissolution of the United Kingdom of Israel. However, that doesn't mean relics from the United Kingdom of Israel period won't surface. It'll only be a matter of time before they do and this video shows it'll be the case soon. It's just the power and politics of the region slowing progress down. As for the Phoenician connection, the Israelites did a lot of business with Tyre. They weren't a seafaring nation so if they wanted to go sailing they'd also need help from the seafaring Tyrians. It's not surprising the area will be filled with Phoenician imports from Tyre.

@@The-Opium-Den So we can agree there has been no archeological record of Israel. All I am saying is that every modern nation in the Middle East today has its relics and cultural that ties them back to their ancient roots, whereas Israel doesn’t. The fact that Israel was never mentioned by name and was only referenced in a very limited manner should make you question the modern Christian perspective on Israel. Once again, I am not saying israel never existed, but I am saying it was never important or relevant enough to be written about it or remembered. Furthermore, I am also saying that ancient Israelis were probably an off shoot of Phoenicians, rather than modern day Israelis which are not local to their land and are actually a colonizing force.

I'm so happy right now. I was subjected to " Higher Criticism " theory when I was in college. All the guy did was talk about the Explanations of the "miracles" and blather on about the "inaccuracies" in the Bible.. because "there was no evidence " ( gee.. where've I heard that lately 🤔 ) in the archeological record! At the time, I didn't know he was teaching 150+ year old presumptions, but my heart knew it was garbage for sure. I'm glad I didn't believe him then, and I'm glad I didn't take the New Testament class. He'd have probably told us how Jesus didn't really do miracles.. or rise from death.. or Ascend. And I'd have had a tougher time with that. But if you Gut God at any significant point, all you'd have left is either Insane Coincidence without Purpose.. or nihilism and moral relativism that is a burden that Crushes everything in its path to powder and fine gravel. Thanks for sharing this information with us. Those are the very stones of the Foundation of my Faith, Who Is the Root of Jesse.

Nonsense - that is a very poor and rough palace, if ever there was one, for a king who earned respects and tribute from all over the known world. The truth is that the Monarchy and Palace of the United Monarchy was based at Zoan, not Zion. If you go to Zoan (Tanis) you will find the entire monarchy, with the same names, dates, symbols, and history, living in the Nile Delta. See book ‘Solomon, Pharaoh of Egypt’. Ralph
