WAR UPDATE OCT-07: We woke up this morning to terrible news. Rhoda and I happen to be in Florida right now but all our families are in Israel and safe for now. We are scheduled to go back to Israel soon. Thank you for your prayers!

me too i also might not be able to go to israel because my family is broke but kidron valley and the siloam and caanite tunnels is very special as it 99% is a legit site of biblical events the valley is legitimate because of it's burned artifacts and is near most places that is supposed to be the valley of the shadow of death and the tunnels cause what's more solid evidence than being tunnel itself

This is what the Angel testified to Zechariah about John: ‭‭Luke 1:13 But the angel said to him: “Do not be afraid, Zechariah; your prayer has been heard. Your wife Elizabeth will bear you a son, and you are to call him John. For he will be great in the sight of the Lord...and he will be filled with the Holy Spirit even before he is born. He will bring back many of the people of Israel to the Lord their God. And he will go on before the Lord, in the spirit and power of Elijah-to make ready a people prepared for the Lord.” Now, after he was born, Zechariah himself also testified about his son John: ‭‭Luke 1:67-69 His father Zechariah was filled with the Holy Spirit and prophesied: “Praise be to the Lord, the God of Israel, because he has come to his people and redeemed them. He has raised up a horn of salvation for us in the house of his servant David. And you, my child, will be called a prophet of the Most High; for you will go on before THE LORD to prepare the way for HIM, to give his people the knowledge of salvation through the forgiveness of their sins". Now, when John was being questioned by the Jewish authorities, he, himself, also testified about who he was and why he had bern sent by God. ‭‭Finally they said, “WHO ARE YOU? Give us an answer to take back to those who sent us. What do you say about yourself?” John replied in the words of Isaiah the prophet, “I am the voice of one calling in the wilderness, ‘Make straight the way for THE LORD.’ ” john-1:22-23 He was quoting a prophecy of the Prophet Isaiah. Let's see what Isaiah wrote: ‭‭Isaiah 40:3 A VOICE OF ONE CALLING: “In the wilderness prepare the way for THE LORD; make straight in the desert a highway for OUR GOD". John said he was the one who was told about through Isaiah, who was to prepare the people for the coming of the Lord, the God of Israel. Listen now, to the account of what John testified about Jesus: ‭‭Mark 1:4-5 John appeared, baptizing in the wilderness and proclaiming a baptism of repentance for the forgiveness of sins. And all the country of Judea and all Jerusalem were going out to him and were being baptized by him in the river Jordan, confessing their sins. And he preached, saying, “After me comes HE who is mightier than I, THE STRAP OF WHOSE SANDALS I AM NOT WORTHY TO STOOP DOWN AND UNTIE. I have baptized you with water, but HE WILL BAPTIZE YOU WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT AND FIRE.” The angel Gabriel, the Prophet Isaiah, Zechariah and John himself all testified that he was sent to prepare the people of Israel for the coming of the Lord, the God of Israel. How he was to prepare them, was to urge the people to repent and be baptized, so when Jesus would arrive, they would be ready for him. As great as John was, a mighty prophet of God, he said he WASN'T EVEN WORTHY TO STOOP DOWN AND UNTIE THE STRAPS OF THE SANDALS OF JESUS. If John wasn't even worthy to stoop down to the dirt and untie the SANDALS of Jesus, who was Jesus then? It was said by many witnesses that John was sent before THE LORD GOD, to prepare the people for HIS COMING. Then Jesus is the one who arrived, whom John prepared the way for, and testified that he wasn't even worthy to stoop down to the dirt and untie his sandals. This is evidence that Jesus is non other than THE LORD GOD.

for me it's the fact that the tunnel and the valley is an actual places that i can only read before in the bible but now i can see them with my own eyes

Wow! I cant believe I got this old not knowing that the "valley of the shadow of death" was actually a REAL place, & not just poetic license! I learn so much from you guys!

So glad you two are safe. Praying for all the believers in Israel. May the comfort and presence of the Lord surround all who have trusted Jesus for salvation. May they boldy proclaim the gospel to those around them who are in agony because of this war.

I visited Israel early this year for 3 weeks. I walked through the wet tunnel which is about 15 minute walk. The water came up to my thigh at one point. Toured with an archeologist who took us to off the beaten path sites such as Bethsaida, trekking to Qumran cave #1, Anas, the high priest tomb in Gehenna, and much more. It was about 5 to 7 miles of walking per day. I will never forget it. I am reading the Bible again under a new pair of lens. Praise the Lord!

💔🇦🇷💔 I was in Jerusalem area for nine days a year ago, October. I’ve been re-posting photos of my month-long tour from then, and it’s really sad to see what’s happening now compared to how peaceful it was in 2022. I’ve wanted to go back and help with the digs at Siloam pool, the Pilgrim Road and king David’s palace.. plus at Shiloh… but now I’m not sure when that will happen. Friends from Capernaum area are sheltering in Jerusalem, where they were celebrating Yom Kippur. So very sad the 50th anniversary was interrupted so rudely. Our LORD be with you all & keep you safe. 🙌✝️🕊
