War is a horrible consequence of the sinfulness of mankind. To them were given the oracles of God, God's law, and it has been trampled under their feet. 70 AD was the final stamp of DISapproval from the Lord. But thankfully we have Romans 11 so we know God has been and will continue to save the elect remnant of them. All praise and glory to our Savior and Lord.

I have always thought Damascus would be brought to a ruinous heap by the enemies own weaponry . I read this for the first time in early 1990's. I thought so then and still think so. As far as donating to first responders, I agree this is a great cause. I have a grandson who is in training to be a first responder. I am so proud of him as I am of all my grandchildren. Folks need to read their Bible instead of using it as a paperweight. GOD clearly states that HE WILL BLESS THOSE WHO BLESS ISRAEL AND CURSE THOSE WHO CURSE ISRAEL. Holy Spirit brought this to my attention last year and I've struggled with this since then. But, He brought it back to me again early this morning in the night watches.
