If someone came through Cluj Napoka Romania on the 1st of April and took 5 days to get to Vynohradiv what advice would you have to get to Lviv from there? Would coloring books, crayons, English classes for fun help the women and children cope there? Something else? Is there a supply ditribution center in Lviv that needs volunteers or a police/defense force that could use training time with a 3 tour OIF/OEF US Army Veteran? Is the Romanian border very backed up like the the others?

Here is a small point. Waiting in long queues??? I am familiar word queue. However in America it is considered extremely formal or a part of higher mathematics and statistics. Here in America we simply say people are waiting in long lines. ... Glory to Ukraine.

I am from Croatia. When we were attacked by the JNA and the Serbian Chetniks in the 1990s, America and Europe "helped" us by imposing an embargo on Croatia's arms imports. We were fighting for independence then, not for joining the EU. Although Croatia was weaker than the JNA and the Chetniks, the president NEVER forbade us young men to leave Croatia. Never! If a new war broke out in our country now, I would never allow my son or husband to die for anyone! My family and friends gave their lives for independence, and now in Croatia only war profiteers and politicians enjoy. Nothing is ours, we are sold out and we have to do everything the EU and America say. Although we are a member of the EU, corruption has remained the same if not bigger than it was when we were part of Yugoslavia. Even today, no one can speak openly about the communist crimes committed against Croats by Tito's communists and partisans. Of course, no one has been punished for that, nor will he be punished. Serbs in Croatia, although they literally slaughtered Croats in the 1990s, live normally. In Vukovar, where Serbs slaughtered the most Croats, they have their own Serb schools. Representatives of Serbs in Croatia are now in the ruling coalition. You are young, run away, because no one will ever say "Thank you". Leave the older ones to fight. The war will pass one way or another. Like all previous nebulous wars, it will end with some kind of agreement. You are a very rich and useful country, so the United States pretends to care about your democracy. America is no better than Russia. America is using you to bring NATO closer to Russia and to take away everything you have, and Russia will certainly not allow NATO to be so close to it. 1962 America does not allow the Russians to deploy a missile system in Cuba. When this war is over, your Azov will be completely unacceptable to the EU and all symbols of that group will be banned. Nazi symbols are not tolerated in the EU. Now these same symbols do not bother America and the EU, because they use them to fight against Russia. Don't let them use you like Syria, Libya or Iraq. If your politicians weren't corrupt, you wouldn't even be a new neutral Swiss, and only then would you really be on your own and right independently. Only then would you manage all your riches on your own. America and Russia could blow your ass. I am sorry to write like this, but I once believed that the West is wonderful and that it is impossible that the EU is not fair and honest. Take care and good luck

Ukraine is unique in that they are European. War isn't for Europeans. Which is why This war is relevant and deserves our attention. How could this be happening? it's different when it is Europeans. I mean we're not talking about a bunch of "others" here. this is simply unacceptable. Some people belong to war but this war is different. stop the war in Europe
