That is insane!!! I was waiting for the winch mount to rip off!!! I have been a few off road runs and have seen a winch or 2 rip off the mount or complete bumper!!!🤘🤘🤘

I haven't used it yet on a trail but I installed a rc4wd 8274 on my trx4. It has amazing torque and good line capacity

I was actually expecting it to rip the mount off or rip the winch out of the mount! What a beast of a winch! I just use the little rc4wd winches. They work ok. They're not for competitions or anything like these guys are.

I just put a reefs 422 HD Servo winch in my gen8 last night it's a Beast

I put a super cheap china winch on my gen8 v2 and it came with a steel line. lost a couple screws though, you gotta loctite every screw because they don't

Grueling test for a new winch. But it passed with room to spare. It has the whole 800oz of torque at 6.0v also, Torque: 800oz @ 6v/ 848oz @7.4v/ 960oz @8.4v.

I dnt use a winch but nice mr Exo✊🏽

I just don’t understand the draw of crazy power winches that are over $100. I know I justify expensive steering servos (I use a 777), but for winches when a Micro99, 3Bros Overland or Boom Muscle will all do the same for under $70 why spend $150? I think speed is the real thing here especially when you lifted a stock TRX6 with the Micro99 😀

Hey Joe I was wondering if you could tell me how to get that 3-D printed mount for this servo I'm gonna put it in the tracks's overload the traxas ultimate tow truck. I'm a veteran tocha driver a long time RC fan of yours and follower I really like this tow truck. I just can't find a mount for it anywhere so I'm confused on how to mount it if they don't even make one so I was wondering how to get your 3-D printed 1? Yo Exo! Have you played around with servo winching the front suspension? A dynamic version of your hairband travel limiters! Just curious, as I've seen winches used to do this on full size rock crawlers. (suckdown winch.)

And theres literally no other crawler I would have done this test with. That winch would have pulled an scx10.2 in half.

I have already tore my ryft apart the rear diff is skipping extremely bad, the shock is sticking really bad, I def wouldn’t recommend it. I’m currently trying to shim the diff to see if that helps

How did you tie off the line at the winch after going threw the little hole?

I noticed on both my IS300 and IS800 that one direction spools faster than the other.. is there a particular way as per to which one is for in or out?

can I use a 3 pos switch from a rtr remote? I want to use this as a winch for my scx24 c10 tow-truck build. perfect to sit on top of the bed. then have a crane built on top of it. what do you think?

@@sprather84 Thanks, I actually have it in my cart already but I wasn’t sure if it would do the job. I originally ordered a large scale spektrum servo not realizing the one in the XMaxx doesn’t mount like a normal servo. I’ve seen videos of how to fit one into the XMaxx but I don’t wanna hack into the chassis or move the receiver box.

So how do I order Vitavon stuff through you??
